I have a cute little birthday card for you today. It is really very simple and uses some designer series paper. It also has a sneak peek of a new punch!!
Birthday Cheer, 148604
I can envision this card in pretty much any color. I love the simplicity of it. The stamp set Birthday Cheer is not available as a bundle due to the dies being sold out. But the stamp set itself is perfect for cards like this. I love making a single image the focal point of a card. This one has this package, a cupcake, and a party hat along with some great sentiments. Any of those would make great focal points. And could be used for a variety of occasions. That is always a major plus to me!
I used the How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper and then cut out the image with the Layering Cicles Framelits. The sentiment is from the same stamp set, but is punched with a NEW punch! How exciting!! It is the Timeless Label Punch. I adore it! It is tall enough for a double line sentiment, which is fabulous to me. It is longer than is showing on my card. I had to tuck some of it under the DSP layer. But I love the look it gives like this. The hidden part is the same end as what you see.
I stamped the gift in Melon Mambo and colored the ribbon with the Light Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blend. I am not sure how clearly you can see the heart on the gift tag of the present. But it is colored with the Blend also and has one of the Heart Epoxy Droplets laying over it. A great way to add some dimension.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you have a great weekend and will return on Monday for another new project. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the page.
My May Host Code is XKQZNUBZ . Please use this code for orders under $150.00. I will have a small perk for those with orders over $50.00.

I am sharing another card I made with my Stamp Club this past Sunday. This one is a bit of a different layout and the ladies seemed to like the different look.
Treat Time, 146626
This card is saying goodbye to two items the are retiring. The Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper and the Treat Time stamp set. The Treat Time is part of a bundle but I only used the stamp set.
The three different size squares are not a trick from the photograph. They are three different sizes. I intended to have one large and two the same size, but the stamps did not really fit that idea. So instead of having too much white space on the bottom one, I went with a smaller square. I really like the outcome! Also, I colored the red rubber stamps with Stampin’ Write Markers. This is a very old technique that I rarely use anymore. Sadly, you cannot purchase the markers individually. So they are not listed on the supply list. But having all of your favorite color family is almost a must for me.
There are a lot of measurements, but they are squares, so the makes it quite a bit easier in my book. Here are the measurements.
5 1/2 X 8 1/2 scored and folded in half
5 1/4 X 4
5 X 3 3/4
1 7/8 X 1 7/8
1 3/4 X 1 3/4
1 5/8 X 1 5/8
1 1/2 X 1 1/2
1 3/8 X 1 3/8
1 1/4 X 1 1/4
The center square is raised with dimensional and the other two are partially underneath it and adhered flat. A Tip: Put the dimensional more into the center and adhere the center piece first for alignment. Then simply slide the others a bit underneath.
Thank you for stopping by today! I am so excited to say we are just about a month away from the debut of the next annual catalog. In the meantime, the Clearance Rack has been refreshed and there are still a lot of great items to be had from the Occasions and current Annual Catalog. I have a HOST CODE if you would like to place an order with me. Please use Host Code XKQZNUBZ if your order is under $150.00. If it is over that, then do not use the host code so you get the rewards.
The complete supply list is at the bottom of the post.

I am trying to use the gorgeous designer series paper that will soon be retiring. I love it all and want to keep it. But instead I am sharing it with you and as birthday cards I send.
Birthday Cheer Bundle, 150576
This How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper is just wonderful. This is two different pieces from the package. I chose the simple white for the die cut to showcase the paper.
The Birthday Tag ended up being a bit large, but then that is what the card is all about! I attached it with the Glitter Enamel Dot on the cupcake.
Thank you for stopping in today! I very much appreciate it and hope you will return tomorrow. The complete list of supplies I used are at the bottom of the post.

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s April Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word – and this month our projects are centered around SPRING. Spring is a special time of year – it’s fun to celebrate the beauty of nature and to get back outside during this transition of the seasons. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
My card is a fun fold that I have not done in years. I found one I had made in some cleaning out I have been doing and then saw one on Pinterest almost the next day. So I thought today’s Hop would be a great time to bring it out again. As the title says, it is a Squash Card. That is a different name for a funky fold. I have several different photos of the closed and open card. Please bare with me.
Wonderful Floral Dies, 148529
This is the closed up look. The card ends up being 4 1/4 X 4 1/4. Even though it is a little thicker than a regular A2 card, it still fits in the A2 envelope. And the bonus of that is no extra postage charge!
Here is it opening:
This view gives you the idea of how you would insure the inside decorations do not get folded or bent. And Here is another of a little more open.
And the final of a fully opened card.
Can you see that you could easily add a gift card holder to the left hand side? I was tempted to redo the entire card when I had that thought!! Sanity prevailed though and I settled for just giving you that idea.
I used the Wonderful Floral Dies and the Floral Romance Designer Series Paper to create the die cuts and the leaves. I love the look of the leaves cut from the DSP. The butterfly was laying on my desk from a previous project and I thought it would fit perfectly on that last panel.
This card began with an 8 1/2 X 8 1/2 piece of DSP. I scored at 4 1/4 on two sides so that it is quartered. I then scored from one corner to the other. After burnishing on the score lines, fold the two diagonal score lines to the inside and burnish again. That is what makes the fun fold. Then decorate as you see fit. The card I saw on Pinterest was made by Lyssa Zwolanek of Song Of My Heart in 2015. You may be able to find it or a newer version. Of course, I would be very happy to assist you in making one like this if you contact me.
All of the supplies used are at the bottom of the post. Stampin’ Up! updated the Clearance Rack on Monday, so please check it out for some awesome deals.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the bloghop, Julie DiMatteo at The Paper Pixie. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
Thank you for hopping along with us. If you get stuck during the Blog Hop, please use this line-up as a guide:

I have some awesome new products to show you at the bottom of the post. So don’t close out too soon! But let’s get to the card of the day first.
The layout I have used for today’s card is one that would work for pretty much any card. And I adore it! It is also great for the scraps we all cannot stand to through away. The layers can be adjusted actually so that they would fit the scrap pieces you have. Isn’t that a great idea?
Itty Bitty Birthdays, 148618
I planned this card as a Birthday card, but in adding the categories that it wold fit, I realized this sentiment is an awesome one. It would be great for a Graduation, which is coming up real soon, or a retirement. And probably a few others.
The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set. I love all of the “Itty Bitty” type sets. They are the perfect size and usually cover almost any occasion, even the more unusual ones. Or at least ones that you do not use very often.
I have not used a lot of Grapefruit Grove card stock, so decided to remedy that today. It is one of the colors in the pack of this gorgeous DSP. It is the Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper. I also used Night of Navy as the DSP backing , and Pineapple Punch for the sentiment backing.
Thank you so much for stopping in today. I hope you enjoyed today’s card and will return tomorrow to see another new project.
The Humming Along stamp set is perfect for a sketch type card, where you leave just the outline. Or you can go crazy coloring it. I, of course, went with the coloring. I seriously love coloring with the Stampin’ Blends. With a large stamped image, the coloring goes very quickly. Here is today’s card.
Humming Along, 148758
I paired the Humming Along stamp set with the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper. The purple flowers are a back side of one of the butterfly prints. And the little butterfly on the flower is punched from a sheet as well. **Remember the Butterfly Duet Punch will be in the next Annual Catalog! So now would be the time to get the FREE DSP that will match it.
The gorgeous sentiment is part of the stamp set and is layered using the Layering Ovals Dies. These type dies are a staple of my stamping products.
