The card I have to share with you today is a definite “girly” card. There is a lace look with bright pinks. And it stars the Darling Details Bundle.
Bundle
This Darling Details Bundle has a bit of everything in it. The flowers are simple and the matching dies have the flowers covered as well as some layering. I have used both in my card. It is a little difficult to describe these flowers I think. They have a bit of a cartoony look to them. And even though I love the beautiful and details flowers Stampin’ Up! always have, I am really loving these.
All of the components of this card are stamped and die cut except for the sentiment. The flowers are Berry Burst with a fill of Bubble Bath. And the leaves are Shaded Spruce either alone or with a fill of Old Olive. The large flower and the one on the right are both raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Everything else is glued. Although the sprigs have the top part left loose for more dimension.
The frame is one of the added bonuses I mentioned. This is so pretty and adds such detail to the card. I wanted the flowers to appear to “hang over” the edge of the frame. The sentiment is from the stamp set as well. So this is a “One Bundle” card.
Papers, Colors, & Finishes
The colors were actually decided when I chose the stamped images colors. From there it was just a matter of the card base. I did play around with all of the included colors, but thought the Old Olive was the best choice. And since it has the least amount of that color used, I stamped the sentiment with Old Olive.
The final touch to this card was bling of course. And to continue with the “girly” look I used the Iridescent Pearls. They are difficult to see in the photo, but there are a scattering of different sizes in the white area.

I have a quick and fun birthday card to share with you today. It features the Fresh As A Daisy paper but with a twist!
Paper
I really love this bright piece of the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper. And knowing that it was originally hand painted by one of the Stampin’ Up! Artists makes it even better! After seeing this piece I knew that it could easily be the star of a card. I paired the beautiful DSP piece with a base of Thick Basic White and a layer of Moody Mauve. The Moody Mauve comes from the flower centers.
The “Angle” is what makes this card, besides the daisies. And it was so easy to do. There is no specific number to angle from. I just place the piece on the card base and decided how far up I wanted it to be. That was keeping in mind the sentiment I was making room for also.
Stamps and Embellishments
The simple stamping is only the sentiment. It is from the Season Of Chic stamp set. This is probably one of the easiest and simplest cards I have made in quite some time. And it is still so pretty due to the DSP. To finish the card all it needed was some bling! There are a scattering of Iridescent Pearls and that is all. They fit in great with the white in the DSP.

I have a preview of a set from the upcoming September – December 2023 Mini Catalog today. This is a set that was available to demonstrators for a SU online event. So you may have already seen samples with it. It is Translucent Florals.
And I forgot to say that it is a fun fold. Actually it is a Double Z FunFold card.
Bundle
The Translucent Florals stamp bundle is a great one! The images have a solid outline with a softer “filling” of the image. I love the look very much. And everyone in my Club and Class that made this card loved it as well. All of the images on here are die cut using the matching Translucent Florals Die set. I used two flowers and a set of double leaves, as well as the greenery piece. Everything is glued in place with the exception of the top larger flower and it has dimensionals. The little stamen stamp in the center of the large flower really makes a difference to the look.
There is one smaller flower stamped on the inside large White layer that is not die cut. You could place a complimentary piece of DSP there as well. And I stamped the double leaf stamp on the inside sentiment piece just for an additional pop of color.
Additional Stamps
The two sentiments that you see are not from the Translucent Florals set. They are from the Sentimental Park stamp set. I wanted simple greetings and the Translucent ones were more wordy. These two fit perfectly where I needed them.
Colors
The colors for this card were more chosen by the greenery color. And that is Pretty Peacock. The strip of DSP is a reverse side of one from the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper. It has the variegated look that works great and makes the Basic White sections pop. The flowers are all stamped using Calypso Coral Ink with the Pretty Peacock for all of the greenery and card base. For my bling I used the Iridescent Pearls and colored them using the Dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend. The softer look seemed perfect.
Layout Measurements
The Double Z Fold is created with a piece of Pretty Peacock measuring 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 that is scored at 2 1/8 and 4 1/4. The smaller Z is made also with Pretty Peacock and measures 2 3/4 X 8 1/2 with the same scoring measurments. After folding and burnishing the card base. Add the large Basic White piece that is 4 X 5 1/4. And the Basic White layer that is 1 7/8 X 5 1/4. The DSP layer is 1 3/4 X 5 1/8.
The Basic White of the smaller Z measures 4 X 2 5/8 for the front and the two sections are each 2 X 2 5/8. Before adding the smaller Z to the base, you can stamp first and add the White layers. Make sure the Z and layers are positioned properly. The smaller Z is opposite folds to the large. To add the two together I found the easiest way was to close both pieces and lay the smaller on top. The ends of the smaller should go all the way to the edge on both sides of the card base. Once you have it in the location you want, add adhesive to only one side at a time. Please let me know if you have any questions.

The Earthen Textures Bundle is a very unique set and one that has so many possibilities. There can be very detailed and textured cards or a little less detailed that are just a special. I went for a little less on today’s card.
Bundle
It may not appear that I have used the Earthen Textures stamp set. I did, but it is on the inside. The front is all from the Earthen Textures Die set. My favorite is the Copper Clay fan shaped die cut. It is unique, has great shape, and can be folded on the creases for even more definition. The two palm frond looking pieces are the same die just done in Misty Moonlight and Mossy Meadow.
The fun part of the card is the vase. The vase is die cut from the Earthen Elegance DSP. This paper was made by a Stampin’ Up! Artist who used clay tiles, some carving, and glazing to then photograph for these papers. Amazing!!! But to give more strength to the vase, since the DSP is quite thin, I also cut a second vase from Misty Moonlight. I then offset it just a bit like there is a shadow of the vase. You might not be able to see if on the left of the vase, but I know it is there. 🙂
Papers
The papers and colors came from the colors I chose for the foliage. That is definitely different for me. The blue DSP is a reverse side of one of the Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper patterns. I like the crosshatch / roughness of it for the foliage. The other colors used are to go along with the foliage as well.
Finishes
The sentiment is a fun font from the Darling Details stamp set. It is stamped using the Mossy Meadow. And the trio of Dots are all from the 2023-2025 In Color Dots. I liked the look of the different colors and it plays with the different colors of the card. Mixing and Matching is a good thing with Stampin’ Up! since most of the colors work very well together.

Today’s card is an idea for those leftover strips of Designer Series paper. Plus it is a really quick card. Finding scraps to work with generally ends up as some of my favorite cards.
Paper
This card is super quick and it is because the DSP is the star of the show. These bright daisies, from Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper, were a leftover strip from my prepping for a class. They are 1 1/2 X 1 1/2. It was a 1 1/2″ strip and all I had to do was make the squares from that. The colors are so pretty, and seem to stand out even more in the small pieces. I paired them with a Bubble Bath background layer that is 1 5/8 X 1 5/8. The layout could go in any direction. These were too large to line down the left side, so I staggered them. But smaller squares would work perfectly for a line . And because I wanted this to be a quick card, my card base is simply Thick Basic White with no layers.
Stamp
The only stamp set used is the Cheerful Daisies set. It is part of the Bundle / Suite for the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series paper. Because of my wanting a Clean card, I simply stamped the sentiment directly on the card base. The ink is Moody Mauve which is also the background of the Daisy paper. And to finish off the card, I scattered a few of the 2023-2025 In Color Dots in Wild Wheat. I love the different sizes for cards with quite a lot of White space!

My card today is showcasing a look at the Trucking Along Bundle. Hopefully you were able to get it last week. If not, do not fret, it will be coming back! I understand why it was so popular and even extra supply was exceeded! This is a year round set.
Stamp Bundle
This great Tucking Along Bundle is a Punch Bundle! Those are my favorite. Punch bundles are less expensive and just as fun! However this stamp set has so many extra stamps! There are a variety of additions for the back of the truck and added scene images. The truck is great on it’s own but also has additional wheel wells, side window, and tires included in the punch.
My truck is stamped and colored with Real Red Stampin’ Blends. I added the bed rails as well as some gifts in the bed. A tip for you is for when you fussy cut the rails and gifts, leave the bottom of each long. I adhered the extra length for each to the backside of the truck. It is so much easier to do than trying to layer in place.
Background
Last week I used a watercolor background for Zany Zoo and now I have repeated that for the truck. Watercolor Paper is used along with the Water Painter brushes. The colors used are Azure Afternoon, Old Olive, and Pecan Pie. The truck was then added using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Papers and Sentiment
To highlight my red truck, I went with Real Red as the card base. And to carry on the wood of the bed rails and tree branch I went with the Pecan Pie Glorious Gingham. Since this is a guy card, I did not use bling. That is shocking even to me! But I did use the Banners Pick A Punch to flag the ends of the sentiment. And the sentiment is from the Zany Zoo stamp set.
