Strawberry Fudge Treats

Today I have a quick “Treat” to share with you.  I have decorated another of the Love You Always Treat Boxes.  These boxes are wonderful.  They are on page 11 of the Mini Catalog.  You get 10 of them for $9.00.  They are a good size and are Food Safe! What a deal!

I paired the treat box with the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper from Sale-A-Bration and the Sweet Strawberry Bundle from the Mini Catalog. These all are a perfect match up.

I began my project deciding on the paper.  I love this green plaid.  (There is also a red plaid in the pack!)  I cut the DSP to 3 3/4 wide and wrapped it around the box, creasing the corners as I went.  I left enough at the end to overlap about 1/2″ .  I did not adhere the paper to the box but just a tight fit and adhered to itself.  Although you could adhere to the box if you wish.

The layer is from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I believe this was the third largest die.  I think it fits perfectly.  For the stamping, I stamped off Granny Apple Green to give a softer look.  I colored the leaves with Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend and the flowers with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.  I had to add some Rhinestones to the flowers ,and one extra, for a touch of bling!

The strawberry is stamped three times  The fill color is Real Red Ink with Memento Tuxedo Black as the outline and the seeds.  I like having the black seeds.  I punched out all three berries using the Strawberry Builder Punch.  Each berry was then folded in half long way with the color to the inside.  I adhered the three together and then added them to the box using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I only punched one stem, folded it in half, and added it to the berry with a glue dot.

Here is a picture of the open box.

The candies are leftover Valentine treats.  For me the little hearts on the wrapper could be seeds from the strawberries.  And Yes, I have a good imagination, LOL!!!  I punched a leaf from the Strawberry Builder Punch for each of the candies.  They are adhered with just a Glue Dot.

I have made a similar box using the Snail Mail Suite of products.  You can see that box decorated by clicking HERE.  You can see on that link how much the box will hold.  It has candy and a Bath & Body Hand Sanitizer.

Sale-A-Bration is winding down.  There is only a little over a week left.  Just an idea…..The Sweet Strawberry Bundle along with the two pairs of Stampin’ Blends I used today, will get you to the $50.00 mark.  It is not enough to get the paper I used, sadly.  It is part of one of the $100.00 bundles.  But it will get you one of nine other FREE items.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I will share the matching card for today’s project on Monday.  I hope you have an enjoyable weekend.

Snail Treat Box

Stampin’ Up! offers a variety of little boxes that are very sturdy and easily decorated.  Today I am sharing the latest box.  It is the Love You Always Treat Box.  To show off the box, I am pairing it with the ever cute little snail from Snailed It.

stampin up, jackie beers, snailed it, treat box,

I think this would be a great little box for a hostess gift, to a friend, a just because, etc.    These boxes are surprisingly large on the inside and hold quite a bit.  Here is a view of the filled inside.

As you can see, it holds a Bath & Body Hand Sanitizer, and four pieces of chocolate.  You could layer a few more chocolates on top of these if you wanted.  These are from Amazon and are  Biscolata Minis.  And they are Very Tasty!!

For decorating the box, I used the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper to wrap around the box.  I just wrapped it around as tightly as I could.  I then pulled it off and creased the folds I had made with my fingers.  Just be sure to leave at least 1/2″ of overlap.  You can see from the picture that the band stays on the top of the box.  The added benefit of a Matchbox type box!

For the top snail section, I stamped everything using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  I colored all with Stampin’ Blends.  I did not stamp the snail on the White layer.  It is  stamped on a scrap piece and die cut.  To be different, I used my Paper Snips and cut off the packages that sit on top of his shell.  After coloring with the Stampin’ Blends, I layered the snail with dimensionals onto the other piece.

To replace the packages on the snail, I stamped the postage stamp “Happy Mail” on some scrap paper and cut out the envelope.  I colored it and added it to the snail’s shell as an unexpected gift.

Thank you for stopping in today!  I greatly appreciate it.

Cup of Hugs

I am sharing almost the entire suite of the Heartwarming Hugs Suite of products in today’s project.  I have 3D, stamping, wrapping, tag making and cuteness!

Not only are these products adorable, but they are very quick to make.  I see these as great Hostess, Neighbor, Teacher, Co-worker, or just a Friend gift.  The carrier comes in a pack of 8, as do the coffee cups and lids.  The cups are the equivalent of a small coffee at a coffee shop or drive thru.  So they hold quite a bit of goodness.  Here is a view of one I filled with fun items.

I filled it with things I had on hand.  I added a gift card, a hand sanitizer from Bath and Body (so you know the size), and 3 Merci Chocolates.  I envision having one hold these type items and the other maybe coffee or hot chocolate.  I believe that would be a great pairing.  Or they both could hold drink materials.

Here is a picture of the two cups.  I sacrificed one cup to get the band measurements and it worked with some minor trimming after being secured around the cup.  The little “wrap” is a die in the Bundle, as are the decorations.

All of the round sentiments are from the Warm Hugs stamp set.  There are a couple of different dies to cut them.  I added the tag to the carrier by using the Fancy Tag Punch and the Real Red Braided Trim.  The little added bow is the Mossy Meadow Diagonal Striped Ribbon.  And since you have seen it several times lately since I LOVE it!!!!!, the DSP is the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper.

Thank you for visiting with me today.  I hope this gives you some great gift ideas to fill these cute cups with.

Additional Products: In addition to the regular starter kit (for $99.00, new recruits choose $125 -worth of products) new recruit will also receive enough cardstock pieces to make 16 cards, a pack of Rhinestone Basic Jewels, the So Much Love stamp set, and the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set—all for their first event.

Gift Bag Topper

I have another Sneak Peek today.  I immediately noticed these awesome dies in the upcoming Mini Catalog.  They are a bundle called Celebration Tidings.  But the dies are the star of the show in my opinion.

When I first began stamping many, many years ago, there was a heavy die named Top Note that was used as a bag topper quite often.  We really have not had anything similar until this. When I saw this set of dies, I thought of that and had to make a bag topper.  This is the 2nd largest of the dies, so they are more designed as a card layer.  But how adorable is this on these Printed Gusseted Cello Bags?

I die cut the piece first and then embossed it with the Wrapped In Texture 3D Embossing Folder.  There are two in the package and this is the “less tight” texture one.

I cut my Whisper White to fit inside the shapes of the topper and stamped the sentiment and the floral.  I colored the floral with Stampin’ Blends.  The idea I had for it sticking up is like from a place card holder.  I marked where the top of the topper hit on the Whisper White and then fussy cut just the upper section.  I like the look of this.

The sentiment and the floral are from the bundle, the Celebration Tidings Stamp set.  There are a variety of sentiments included.  The cello bag is actually 3 X 9 in size.  So I just cut off about 3″ from the top and folded it over.  When I was looking for a treat to use, I ran across a bag of these hand sanitizer that I bought “who knows when” to use in projects.  I wish I had found them sooner! LOL!!!

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you have an enjoyable weekend and will check back on Monday for another new project.  And don’t forget about bonus days!  Read below.  Also if you do not have a current demonstrator I would love to assist you with your Stampin’ Up! products and send you the upcoming Mini Catalog.  It debuts in August.

Simply Creative Gift Packaging

I am continuing with projects from the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event this past weekend.  I had two friends, one is a downline of mine, coming in from Florida for the event.  As Atlanta weather goes we were having very chilly weather, especially on Thursday when they were arriving.  I found a little humorous gift for them and made a package for them.

I realize I have once again used the snowman products, but in this instance it was very appropriate.  Do you see the designer series paper theme?  It is mittens.  And that is what is wrapped in the tissue paper.  I found the little “one size fits most” pull on gloves.  I love these because I have really short fingers and they fit my fingers! LOL!!!  The added bonus is they are very inexpensive and great as little add on gifts.  Or in my case because I tend to loose at least one of them.

I used the 6 X 8 Cello Bags for the gloves.  The topper is made by using a 6 X 4 piece of Poppy Parade Card Stock and added a 5 3/4 X 1 2/3 piece of Coastal Cabana to the front and back.  That is topped by a piece of 5 1/2 X 1 1/2 piece of the Let It Snow Designer Series Paper.  It is also on the front and back.  I folded this over the top of the bag and secured it with two staples, both placed towards the center.  I used the old SU stapler that is retired.  But any small craft or desk stapler would work fine.

For the tag, I used a 2 X 5 strip of Whisper White card stock.  It is punched at the bottom with the Banner Triple Punch and at the top with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch.  I stamped a scene from the Snowman Season stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  It is highlighted with the Stampin’ Blends.  The sentiment is one of my go to themes.  It is from #Elfie stamp set.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I will have a few more different projects for you in the next couple of days.

Hello Everyone !!

I hope I still have my loyal followers here today.  I had an awesome two week vacation in France, but now I am back to share new projects with you.

The weather in France was warmer than expected and I came home to a bit cooler temperatures.  That was an unexpected pleasure.  This put me in the holiday spirits, plus realizing that Halloween is in two days!  Yikes!!!  So I covered all of the upcoming holidays in one project for you.  And it is a quick one as well.

Kraft Pillow Boxes, 147018

I created treat boxes for each of the upcoming holidays.  All of these were really quick.  I could have kept going on each one of the themes.  With the Designer Series Paper, Ribbon, and great seasonal stamp sets, the ideas are just endless for decorating these little boxes.

The great part of these boxes are the price.  You get 10 boxes for $5.00.  That is an awesome deal!  They are large enough to hold a variety of candies or small gifts.  These are fairly basic in the designs.  I can see the beauty in coming up with a theme and creating a basket of these to have by your door for holiday guests or to take to a gathering.

Thank you for visiting today.  I really appreciate you hanging around for my return from vacation.  The supplies I used on the boxes are all listed at the bottom of the post.
