The Zany Zoo suite is one of the most fun of any in the Annual Catalog. At least in my opinion anyway. I have used it today for an anytime card that would also work for anyone.
Stamp Bundle
The Zany Zoo Bundle is one for any person I know. And today’s card could be a birthday or any reason to celebrate someone. And I love that! The one image that I have not used previously is this skunk. He / She is so adorable and looks like they are up for an adventure. The image is cut from the DSP using one of the Dies from the Stamp Bundle. The trees were fussy cut from the paper. It was not at all difficult to cut out.
The banner is also included in the Dies. As is the stamped sentiment. The banner only cuts the Basic White banner and not the Lemon Lime Twist one. I wanted a layer of course. My way around this was to use the Die to emboss the outline using the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine. Then I simply cut around the embossed, or rather debossed, area. The sentiment is included in the stamp set as well.
Papers
My layers came from the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper. I knew I wanted the skunk and the trees. And the trees are Lemon Lime Twist. So that became the card base. The black and white DSP is also in that paper pack. All of the reverse sides of the DSP are different black and white prints. This made the card pretty easy. Lemon Lime Twist for the card base with a layer of Basic White and then the DSP. Easy Peasy!!!

My card today is showcasing a look at the Trucking Along Bundle. Hopefully you were able to get it last week. If not, do not fret, it will be coming back! I understand why it was so popular and even extra supply was exceeded! This is a year round set.
Stamp Bundle
This great Tucking Along Bundle is a Punch Bundle! Those are my favorite. Punch bundles are less expensive and just as fun! However this stamp set has so many extra stamps! There are a variety of additions for the back of the truck and added scene images. The truck is great on it’s own but also has additional wheel wells, side window, and tires included in the punch.
My truck is stamped and colored with Real Red Stampin’ Blends. I added the bed rails as well as some gifts in the bed. A tip for you is for when you fussy cut the rails and gifts, leave the bottom of each long. I adhered the extra length for each to the backside of the truck. It is so much easier to do than trying to layer in place.
Background
Last week I used a watercolor background for Zany Zoo and now I have repeated that for the truck. Watercolor Paper is used along with the Water Painter brushes. The colors used are Azure Afternoon, Old Olive, and Pecan Pie. The truck was then added using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Papers and Sentiment
To highlight my red truck, I went with Real Red as the card base. And to carry on the wood of the bed rails and tree branch I went with the Pecan Pie Glorious Gingham. Since this is a guy card, I did not use bling. That is shocking even to me! But I did use the Banners Pick A Punch to flag the ends of the sentiment. And the sentiment is from the Zany Zoo stamp set.

This month, the theme is CASE the Catalog. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The card I chose to case is one with some easy layers and fun tags. It is on page 45 of the Annual Catalog and the far right one. My version is both darker and brighter.
Colors
The colors for this card came from the top layer of DSP. Actually both layers are from the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Papers. I love the mix of the Night of Navy and Fresh Freesia together. These colors carried over from the DSP to the card base and the two tags. And even to the die cut flowers.
Dies
The Die cut tags are the star of this show. Both of them are beautifully detailed. They are both from the Online Exclusives – Designer Tags Dies. There are three detailed ones the size of the Navy one as well as a solid Die to layer behind. My favorite is the sentiment though. The little stitching and flower on the end are so cute.
The die cut flowers behind the tags are from the Timeless Arrangements Dies. These are awesome floral dies in that they are all on a little bar. It makes them very easy to layer and not have a lot of tiny pieces to try to glue. I left the tops of all of the floral free for added texture.
Stamps and Finishes
The little “Thanks” sentiment is from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set. It is a favorite as it fits on a lot of small dies as well as just a little strip of card stock. The bow is from the 2022-2024 In Color Bakers Twine. I went a bit wild and used three strands for this bow! The blue is a bit brighter than the NIght of Navy used elsewhere but that is fine and helps it stand out. And my finishing touch is a scattering of the Iridescent Pearls. They match everything and add some sparkle to the darker colors.
Thank you for stopping in today!!
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are very excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month (always the second Wednesday of each month), when our theme will be “Punch Your Art Out”.

Today’s card is a special one made for one of my long time Stamp Club ladies. My first ever 50th Anniversary card. I hope she liked it!
Card Front
This card is a bit different in that it really doesn’t have stamping on the front. It is a Fun Fold and I used four different pieces of the Hello Irresistible Designer Series paper. They all are very similar and work wonderfully together. The card base is Crushed Curry with a Basic White layer. I did not want it to be too pinkish since it is for her husband as well! The pink came from the hearts. They are from the Wanted To Say Dies.
The “50” is made using the More Dazzle Specialty paper. It comes in gold and Champagne colors. The dies used are retired however. They are the Large Numbers. I rarely use numbers but have held on to this set for just such an occasion.
Open Card
Here is a view of the inside of the card. You can see the fourth piece of the DSP on the center fold. It is only seen when the card is open.
The inside is quite a bit simpler than the front. I did use the Soft Sea Foam ink to add a leaf to the inside sentiment layer as well as some speckles. And the sentiment is from the Ringed With Nature stamp set. There are not a lot of Happy Anniversary in my collection apparently!
Fun Fold
The card base is Crushed Curry cut 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 and scored at 2 1/8 and 4 1/4.
The White layers are 2 cut 1 7/8 X 5 1/4 and one 4 X 5 1/4.
The DSP is 2 cut 1 3/4 X 5 1/8 and 1 cut 3 7/8 X 5 1/8.
Crushed Curry folded layer is 5 1/2 X 2 1/2 scored and folded at 2 3/4.
2 White layers cut 2 5/8 X 2 5/8 (one for inside)
1 DSP cut (front focal layer) 2 1/2 X 2 1/2

It is a So Very Merry July! I have a Christmas card to share because I could not wait to try this new Online Exclusive stamp set. It is a bit different from the normal sets.
Stamp set
The So Very Merry is a new Christmas set that is now available in the Online Exclusives part of the Online Store. Some people seem to have some difficulty getting there though. When you are in the store, click on Shop Products, and then scroll down and you will see Online Exclusives in the options.
This set has the stamp I have used of Santa, plus an angel in a circle, a gingerbread house, and various extras with sentiments. I personally love the stained glass look. My Santa scene is stamped and embossed with Black Embossing Powder prior to coloring with Stampin’ Blends. And best of all…..the circle fits perfectly to the 2 3/8 Circle Punch! (The photo is not great as I was trying to show details and it was either too dark or too light!)
Colors
The colors for this card were decided after I finished coloring Santa. I knew it would be a simple layout so did not worry about matching DSP or anything like that. I chose Real Red for Santa, so that is the card base. The layer is Boho Blue due to the sky, and the embossed layer is Wild Wheat because of Santa’s toy sack.
Embellishments
To add some detail to a simple layout I went with the Basics 3D set of Embossing Folders. These are also in the Online Exclusives. There are three folders with different designs. This one is by far my favorite! And it definitely adds the texture my card needed. To ground the Santa image, I added a strip of the Boho Blue across the panel. And finished with a trio of the Classic Matte Dots. This is a very minimalistic card from me! LOL!!
Thank you for visiting today!!!
Please do not forget about Bonus Days when you place orders. An order of $50.00 of products gets you a coupon code to use in July. And it gets you a Blue Star Reward from me as well.

Today’s card is a bit different from my norm. I have a Watercolor background for the lovely Knitting Llama! This was a fun experiment and I hope you like it.
Stamp Bundle
This adorable knitting Llama is from the Zany Zoo Bundle. I love the quirky animal stamps. And this Bundle is a favorite. In general my card thought is that one should give you a Smile. These definitely do that!
The Llama is stamped and colored using Stampin’ Blends. She was left White, except for the legs. I really have no idea what color Llamas are, but she has Smoky Slate Light arms and legs. The yarn is Boho Blue with darker stripes of Orchid Oasis. Her chair is Bubble Bath to match the layer. And she is cut using the matching Die from the set. The perfect sentiment is from the stamp set as well. I love the boldness of it!
Colors
The idea for this card was bright! So the layers needed to be bright and happy colors. I went with Highland Heather as the card base with a layer of Pool Party. Then another layer, which is not normal for me, of Bubble Bath. But all of these are in the other parts of the card. So why not!!
Watercolor
The watercoloring idea came from a Demonstrator event from Stampin’ Up!. Another demonstrator made a card with a similar watercolor style. Her card was gorgeous, so I knew I wanted to give it a try. In theory it is a very simple technique. Mine came out better than I expected but still needs practice. Using the Fluid 100 Watercolor paper is a main component. It is thick and holds the color. I used Pool Party and Highland Heather Re-inkers to create the background. The largest of the Water Painters was also used.
