I have had a hard time of getting my mind wrapped around the Online Exclusives. Basically I forget to look at them. I am old fashioned and love the catalog in my hand. However, now that I have begun checking out the Online offerings, I am in love. And looking on the website is becoming normal. I shop on websites all the time.
All of this said, today’s card is made with a fabulous Online Exclusive Die set. It is the Everyday Arches. There are several of them and they all layer. That is my favorite thing! So after all of my talking, here is the card.
STAMPS
The arches are what I began with, but this amazing stamp is also a star. It is similar to a stamp set we had previously that I loved. The name is Shadowed Shapes. And that is a perfect name for these stamps. When I saw this set of two stamps I knew I had to have it. The stamp is a negative really. To add color to the detailed cut out places I went over them carefully with Shaded Spruce and Real Red Stampin’ Write Markers. I used the direct to rubber technique of using the brush tip to gently go over the stamp. In this case it was going over the fine cut out pieces.
To begin with I had to decide on the solid color of the stamp. In thinking of the strawberries as they are shown, I decided it needed to be sky blue. Balmy Blue was my choice. I inked the stamp with the Balmy Blue and then used the markers to do their thing. Of course I love that it also has an arched top. The inside of the card has sentiments from the awesome Unbounded Love stamp set.
PAPERS
There is no designer paper today. It shocks me every time. I went with the colors from the strawberries. The Real Red makes a bold arch for the stamp. To keep things somewhat simple, even though the arches are a standout, I went with Basic White for the card base.
The cutting of the Real Red arch left a perfect layer for an outline. When I really looked at it, I decided it had to go on the inside of the card. The sentiments are from the Unbounded Love stamp set. Here is the inside open view.
EXTRAS
The Everyday Arches are my star as mentioned several times. I used the 3rd and 5th from largest to cut the images. For the texture touches I add a ribbon of the Shaded Spruce Satin & Sheer Ribbon. It is wrapped around and secured on the back then a separate pieces is tied in a knot on the front. Easy Peasy! And the final touch is the bling. Even though these are not shiny bling, I love them. They are from the Regal Foiled Adhesive Dots. I chose to use both the red and the green for a different look.

It has finally dawned on me that Valentine’s Day is just a short couple of weeks away. When looking through my stamp sets I checked out the wonderful new Hearts of Elegance Bundle. The Dies are what grabbed my attention for a fun card that is a little different. It is a heart shaped card.
Here is the fun open view:
STAMPS & DIES
The Hearts of Elegance Bundle, from the new drop of Online Exclusives, contains great Valentine and Love sentiments as well as a few additional images. The Die set is fabulous! There are two large Dies, the two larger on the front of the card, and then several smaller ones. The inside White and the DSP are the same Die that doesn’t exactly fit the second largest. But it does fit the largest and has a few smaller in the layering line.
The rose is from the stamp set and did not complete as I envisioned. The single stamping of it left two much open space. So I turned it just a bit and stamped again. That worked perfectly except I should have done them in complimentary colors I believe. I did add some highlights with Stampin’ Blends. And the banner sentiment is from the set and fits perfectly across the front of the card. As does the inside Happy Valentine’s Day!
PAPERS
The color choices in paper are pulled from this gorgeous DSP. It is the Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper. The paper has been so popular that it is currently out of stock. Hopefully it will return soon. I did not realize it was out until I had already used it on the card.
To match the DSP, I used Melon Mambo as the card base and Pretty In Pink for the large layer. I believe I covered up the pink of the marbling with the banner though. The fun heart shaped card was made by beginning with a regular 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 card base folded in half. I only wanted the one corner to be connected for a unique look. To make this happen I placed the Largest heart shape Die on the front of the folded card in landscape mode. And I simply pushed one of the heart tops past the fold just a bit. It does take several run throughs on the Cut & Emboss machine to cut through the two pieces of cardstock.
EXTRAS
This gorgeous DSP really doesn’t need a lot of bling assistance. Since I shared a card yesterday that had no bling, I felt obligated to add a bit more today. The Low Profile Dots seemed perfect to add a more gold. Plus they were handy! And they help bring out the gold leaves for the rose. That was a thought that may throw some folks off. I took some creative license and added the gold leaves to the rose as an added touch of bling. When Wild Wheat retires I will be lost as I use it regularly for a gold ink color.

I love the “Fun” stamp sets that the Stampin’ Up! Artists design. They generally will find their way to my craft room. The card I am sharing today is from one of those Fun sets. This one has a variety of designs and sentiments to make you smile. And that is what card making is all about in my book.
STAMPS
This Fun stamp set is named One More Year. It has unique designs and sentiments to wish someone a happy birthday. I love this one with Wine and Cheese. You cannot go wrong here for almost anyone in their adult years.
The wine and cheese are stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored using Stampin’ Blends. For the sentiment I went with a bit of fussy cutting to get it to the size I needed for the label.
PAPERS
The DSP used today is partly due to this being a male birthday card. And I love the plaid designs. The name of the DSP pack is Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper. This is a 6 X 6, so I see a lot of different projects coming soon in plaid! I paired the plaid with Flirty Flamingo as the card base and Cherry Cobbler as the layer.
EXTRAS
There are several products under the Extra banner today. First are the layers of the wine and cheese. These are the 2″ and 2 3/8″ Circle Punches. And the sentiment label is from the Labeled With Love Punch. To add some color to the open area of that label, I used the Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker to “Flick” some splatter onto it. Unfortunately the markers are only available as a color family pack.
To my surprise I realized there is no bling! But there is some additional texture that leans toward masculine. I used Linen Thread to tie a strip around the card and added a double knot for the bow. I love Linen Thread in place of ribbon on certain cards.

I have a gorgeous butterfly to share with you today. Generally I do not choose the butterfly sets but this one really got my attention. Part of the grab is the matching Die set and the other are the sweet sentiments that go along with the butterflies. You will be seeing more of this bundle in the near future from me!
STAMPS & DIES
This card is all about the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle! This is a fabulous bundle of images, sentiments, and some really neat Die details. My card is a bit on the simpler side of things for this first one. The big star is the large butterfly. You can see the wonderful details of the Die even in my photo. To give myself away, I actually intended to use the other side of the butterfly as I chose that paper first. But after seeing the detail and it seemed to show better on this more floral side. The detail on the reverse does not disappoint either.
To decide on the sentiment for the front of the card became a bit of a challenge. There is a lot going on for this card front. Since the butterfly is so large and I have it going from edge to edge, I opted to do the same with the sentiment. This strip of Daffodil Delight was from trimming the layer. I cut it to fit and then stamped this simple Happy Birthday.
PAPERS
The butterfly and the DSP layer are one sheet from the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper pack. As I said above, my plan was to use the other side of the butterfly. That is what is now the layer pattern. I flipped both pieces back and forth a few times until I decided to go as you see.
The flowers at the bottom of the card are from another sheet from this same DSP. I fussy cut these little flowers to add to the card. There is also a corner piece on the inside of the card. Please remember when you have a design in the corner of a sheet that it is not wasted! They work wonderfully by being cut out and added to the bottom of the inside layer. I apologize that I failed to get a photo.
EXTRAS
To add some bling to this card was debated for a few minutes. There really is a lot going on here. But I gave in to my normal way of doing things. And I am so happy I did. These gold dots are from the new Low-Profile Dots that are an Online Exclusive item. And they are really low profile! In fact they feel almost flat. This pack has both gold and a pink/coral color. You will be seeing me use a lot of these little sweeties!

The card I have to share today is a mix of new OnLine , Sale-A-Bration, and Mini Catalog products. This octagon shape is the star.
STAMPS & DIES
This focal octagon shape is from the Memorable Blooms Bundle in the Mini Catalog. There is another smaller Octagon that fits inside this one. That Die has a floral design included. For this card all I needed was the plain shape. For the inside of the shape I used one of the Elements of Text stamps that is a new Online Exclusive set. This is the long, skinny text stamp. There is a larger, more square, one also. It is stamped as the background using Smoky Slate Ink.
The pretty floral stamp in the focal layer is from the Memorable Blooms Bundle as well. It is stamped using Tuxedo Memento Black Ink and then colored using Stampin’ Blends. My colors for the entire card are Berry Burst and Lost Lagoon. That is what I used to color the floral. And the simple, yet bold, sentiment is from the stamp set as well.
PAPERS
To create the background of this card was as simple as choosing this sheet of paper from the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper. This sheet is what inspired the card colors. And the strip of the sentiment is the reverse side of this splattered sheet. I wanted to use it but was afraid the ink would not show very well on the Berry Burst darker color. However with the boldness of the stamp it worked just fine. I love stamping on DSP!
The card base is Berry Burst with layers of Lost Lagoon. The little strip beneath the sentiment layer was all it needed to give it some grounding.
EXTRAS
To have some additional of the berry color, I turned to one of the Free items from Sale-A-Bration. These are the Purple Sequins. Products are Free with a qualifying order. These sequins are a couple of different shades of pink. They fit perfectly with my card today.

I love opening the boxes of new products! Seeing items in person is so much better than in the catalog. Along those lines is the star of today’s card. Two little die cuts and the card is practically finished! This is a fun and versatile type card.
STAMPS and DIES
The stamp for this card is great. But it is not really the star of the card. The cut outs in the two corners are what makes this simple card so cute. And it was so simple to do! The cut outs are from two separate Dies from the Spring Corners Die set. (There is also a fabulous matching stamp set.)
The Dies are perfect to place in corners as you can see. I simply chose my Basic White layer and added the two dies where I wanted them. One run through the cutting machine and here we are! I have seen cards where folks have cut the large flower several times in different colors and then pieced the cut out pieces into this outline. Those are really pretty, but I opted for quick and easy on this one.
The sentiment is from a separate stamp set. It is from another new set the Memorable Blooms. It is a bundle in the Mini Catalog. One of my favorite things is a mixing of fonts. And this one really stands out.
PAPERS
To create the background of my flower I wanted daisy colors. In looking through my DSP, I found this piece from the Fruit Salad Designer Series Paper. It is a Sale-A-Bration DSP, which means you can get it free with a qualifying order amount. Actually I used two sheets of the same pattern. The layer behind the die cut areas is the opposite side of the layer piece.
The layer piece looks like the inside of an orange slice when you see the full sheet. And to compliment the yellow of the DSP, I went with Crushed Curry for the card base. When trying to decide how to place my sentiment I noticed a scrap of the DSP on the table. So I fussy cut the sentiment and layered it on the scrap. Then I fussy cut the DSP scrap to match. It was very quick and I do not mind fussy cutting at all. Especially on this which had some straight cuts.
EXTRAS
The bling for the card was chosen to match the yellow again. These are sweet little color dots and not really shiny bling. But that is okay with me. I like matching my colors sometimes. These are named Party Dots! How cute is that. There is a variety of colors in the package.
