I have not made a Gate Fold card in a very long time. And didn’t really intend to do that today, but sometimes cards have a mind of their own and that is what I ended with. Since I love the Prized Peony stamps, that was not a bad thing at all.
Here is the opening.
I stamped the peony in Misty Moonlight Ink and colored it with Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends. I wanted a lighter blue for the petals. The leaves are colored with Just Jade Stampin’ Blends. These two colors work so well together. My color choices came from the Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper. I added a couple of the Elegant Faceted Gems for some bling!
For the inside, I used the Misty Moonlight Ink again for the smaller peony. However , I “stamped off” before stamping the Whisper White card stock. The sentiment is also in Misty Moonlight, but full strength.
Directions:
Base card is Just Jade and cut to 8 1/2 X 5 1/2
Score at 2 1/8 from each end on the long side.
DSP is cut to 2 X 5 3/8 (2 pieces)
Front layer of Misty Moonlight is 3 7/8 X 3 1/4
Front layer of Whisper White is 3 3/4 X 3 1/8

If you follow my posts, you know I love gift card holders. I have a pretty but different one to share today. And it is not a card. However, you could take the properties and make a really cute card.
This adorable tin is on page 55 of the upcoming August – December Mini Catalog. It is a perfect size of not too large and not too small. It holds a Gift Card perfectly. Plus, you have a little room to add some extra surprises. It measures 4″ x 2 3/4″ x 1″. And it is food safe as well. They come very well packaged in a group of 4.
I wrapped the tin with the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper that is cut 8 1/4 X 2. It is tight enough not to easily slide off, but does slide off and on. The length gives a good bit of overlap, which I like for sturdiness.
The banner is from Heartwarming Hugs DSP as well. I started with a piece cut 2 x 3. It is punched using the Banner Triple Punch. The sentiment is from the Gift Wrapped set. I layered it using the Ornate Frames Dies. The finishing touch is the bow I made with the Real Red Double Stitched Satin Ribbon. It ties wonderful bows that stay fluffy!

Sometimes we see stamp and die bundles and , at least I do, think “that’s a lot of pieces”. This bundle I am using today was one of those. Then I looked at it closer and told myself how wrong I had originally been. This is a winner!!
I said this was a Summer wreath, but it could very easily be a Spring one. I adore this Arrange A Wreath Bundle. It has elements that can be used for different seasonal wreaths. I used it last week in a blog hop , along with items from the Warm Hugs Bundle, to make a Christmas Wreath. You can see that post HERE.
This wreath is a pretty quick one. I stamped the base wreath in Mossy Meadow Ink. The die cut wreath is cut from Old Olive using the Wreath Builder dies. The bow is part of the dies as well. The flowers are stamped from the set and punched using the Small Bloom Punch.
The card base is 8 1/2 X 4 1/2, folded in half. The Whisper White layer is 4 X 4. A really quick cutting for multiple cards!

This card is for a friend who had to say goodbye to one of the sweetest and smartest dogs ever. To me these are as hard to make as a sympathy card for a person. I really love animals. But I was happy with how this one worked out. The sketch from Case This Sketch was in my mind, and it just came together.
In coming up with this card, I was looking at the gorgeous Playful Pets Designer Series Paper, and again the sketch was in my brain. I knew the two would mesh perfectly. Here is the sketch:
After cutting all of the DSP, I began looking for the perfect sentiment. Surprisingly, I found it in the Rustic Retreat stamp set. This is a winter time set, but the words were perfect. This sweet dog was the perfect mannered one, and always walked right by my friend’s side.
The final touch was the little dog bone accessory from Playful Pets Trinkets. It is paired with the Playful Pets Trim combo. I used almost everything from this suite of products except the dies!

You know I adore the Forever Fern Bundle of products. I have used it several times. Well, today is one more. I needed a special Congratulations card and went back to these awesome definition stamps.
I rarely make a White on White card. I did today, and actually made another one for my club cards. I will be sharing that one later in the week. But for this card, I felt the gorgeous colors I used to stamp, plus the beautiful DSP , needed a clean slate behind it. The base card is Thick Whisper White, and the layer is regular weight Whisper White raised with Dimensionals.
I used the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper as the grounding spot. It is cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. In person , the stitching detail around the edges shows up a bit more than here. For the sentiment, I wanted a really pretty “Congratulations”. I found this one in Celebration of Tags. It is a new set in the annual catalog that matches the Trio of Tags Dies ,which carried over. I didn’t use the matching dies, as I wanted just a bit larger background. So I used one of my favorites the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Not only do I love the shape, but they have the stitching around the edge to match the Stitched Rectangle.
For the greenery, I used a variety of greens. I used Pear Pizzaz, Just Jade, and Pretty Peacock for the various types of leaves. I then used Soft Sea Foam with the splatter stamp from Forever Fern. It is really soft and that was just enough splatter around the card. I stamped it twice after each inking, so some spots are lighter than others.

I have another Sneak Peek today. I immediately noticed these awesome dies in the upcoming Mini Catalog. They are a bundle called Celebration Tidings. But the dies are the star of the show in my opinion.
When I first began stamping many, many years ago, there was a heavy die named Top Note that was used as a bag topper quite often. We really have not had anything similar until this. When I saw this set of dies, I thought of that and had to make a bag topper. This is the 2nd largest of the dies, so they are more designed as a card layer. But how adorable is this on these Printed Gusseted Cello Bags?
I die cut the piece first and then embossed it with the Wrapped In Texture 3D Embossing Folder. There are two in the package and this is the “less tight” texture one.
I cut my Whisper White to fit inside the shapes of the topper and stamped the sentiment and the floral. I colored the floral with Stampin’ Blends. The idea I had for it sticking up is like from a place card holder. I marked where the top of the topper hit on the Whisper White and then fussy cut just the upper section. I like the look of this.
The sentiment and the floral are from the bundle, the Celebration Tidings Stamp set. There are a variety of sentiments included. The cello bag is actually 3 X 9 in size. So I just cut off about 3″ from the top and folded it over. When I was looking for a treat to use, I ran across a bag of these hand sanitizer that I bought “who knows when” to use in projects. I wish I had found them sooner! LOL!!!
