The number one item on my list when I first saw the Mini Catalog was the Sweet Little Stockings Bundle. And of course the matching Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper to go along with it. Today’s card is a fun and simple one using those items.
Paper
The hardest part of planning this card was choosing the DSP. The Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper is perfection on every piece. They all make me Smile! And you know that is my goal in card making. This piece is a great one with all of the different animals peeking over the tops of the stockings. I didn’t really want to cover the paper with a focal point so I could allow the paper to shine.
Stamps and Dies
Both the sentiment and the stocking are from the stamp set. And thankfully the banner is one of the Dies. I love banners/tags for a focal layer on a card. The stocking is stamped and die cut with the matching Die. I colored it using Stampin’ Blends. The banner is cut with a Die as well. I love the stitching around the edges. To mimic the stocking cuff look, I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Basic White and trimmed it to fit the top of the banner.
The finishing touch is one of the Metallic Pearls for the nail holding up the stocking!
Measurements
The base of Cherry Cobbler is cut 4 1/4 X 11, scored at 5 1/2 and folded in half
The Old Olive layer is cut 4 X 5 1/4
The DSP layer is cut 3 7/8 X 5 1/8
The Old Olive for the banner die cut is 2 1/2 X 3 3/4
The White for the sentiment is 1 X 2 1/4

Stampin’ Up! is the best as coordinating their products. The card I am sharing today is one made from a stamp set from the Annual Catalog along with paper from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.
Stamps
This adorable penguin is from the Annual Catalog stamp set named Count On Me. It has several precious little animals. They are sized similar to this one for ease of card making. I love this little guy and the cute attached balloon. His floating along did not even require a sentiment.
Paper
The two pieces of DSP are both from the Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper that is one of the FREE Sale-A-Bration items. You know I tend to use opposite sides of DSP and I did the same here. Each of these pieces has penguins and some other animals, that not surprisingly, will coordinate with the stamp set I used.
Colors
To coordinate with the DSP, I chose Misty Moonlight and Fresh Freesia. I do not mind that these colors are not generally associated with penguins. The color I used for the penguin is the Light Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blend. His feet and nose are Dark Daffodil Delight , and the balloon is Light Fresh Freesia Blends.

The card I have to share with you today is one that could be an uplifting card, or a sympathy card. Sympathy cards are always hard to make, so it is one I try to add to my collection periodically. Occasionally when they are needed, it is hard to get your thoughts in the right place to be creative. However, I am thinking of this card as an uplifting one.
Stamps
The stamp set for this beautiful heart is the Strong Of Heart set. It is the Make A Difference stamp set from Stampin’ Up! and is on page 5 of the Mini Catalog. This means that Stampin’ Up! will make a donation for each stamp set purchased towards Heart Health.
I chose to use the background design, which looks like some watercolor, along with the heart outline. Petal Pink was used for the background stamp of the heart. The floral touch built into the heart shape is so pretty and elegant. I colored the petals and leaves with Flirty Flamingo and Just Jade Stampin’ Blends. The sentiment is from the stamp set as well. For the sentiment to show up well it is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
Paper
I had colored the heart image prior to deciding on the card layers. To match the Just Jade, I went with a piece from the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper. The simple stripe is just enough for detail without being too bold. Flirty Flamingo is the layer to match the heart. A Thick Basic White is the card base to match the white of the focal layer. And the finishing touch is a Pearl for a little bit of special.

I love stamp sets that are versatile. One of those from the Mini Catalog is the Little Delights stamp set. It is on page 59. The catalog shares a simple card and going up to a stepped up version to show its versatility. Here is my version.
Stamps
The Little Delights stamp set includes stamps and sentiments for Birthday, Fall, Halloween, and Christmas. I chose the Birthday for this card. My colors were for a challenge within our Team. So the hat is stamped using Real Red Ink. To carry in the Old Olive, I used an Old Olive Stampin’ Blend to color in the stripes.
This gorgeous sentiment is included in the stamp set. The third color in the challenge is Cinnamon Cider. I have commented a couple of times how this Cinnamon Cider Ink looks like it has a shimmer to it. So it was no problem using it for the focal point. For a final touch, I fussy cut a fourth party hat and adhered it to the corner of the panel. There is also the addition of a rhinestone on top of the hat.
Paper
The paper I chose was to cover the colors needed in the color challenge of Real Red, Old Olive, and Cinnamon Cider. This piece is one of the “back” sides of the precious Sweet Stocking Designer Series Paper. The cinnamon/bumblebee shaded dots may not exactly match, but when placed with the sentiment it works! And it definitely fits the Party theme.

I have two versions of a Penguin Place card to share today. One is pretty simple and the other is using the same products with just a little addition.
Stamps
The Penguin Place Bundle is a wonderful Bundle! One of the things I love is that it is a Punch Bundle. I really prefer punches when doing multiples of a card. And this punch and stamp set allow you to punch just a piece of Black cardstock and a piece of White cardstock that you layer together. OR … you stamp the Penguin and punch it out as I did.
And is that sentiment not the cutest??? The matching sentiment is on the inside and says “It’s Like A Little Except A Lot” I think that is adorable.
Here is the 2nd version that has a bit added to it.
Technically, the only addition is the balloon and string. But the change of layout really amps it up a bit. The balloon is from the stamp set and is fussy cut. The sentiment is the same, I used the paper snips to cut the flag end.
Paper
The prettiest paper on this card in my opinion is the 2021-2023 In Color Vellum. And yes, I used it last week as well. This piece seems to show up better than the darker piece did. The die cut circle is from the Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper. It is a Sale-A-Bration item. There are a couple of Sale-A-Bration papers that partner with Mini Catalog sets. I love this approach. Purchase the Bundle, with maybe a little bit extra products to reach the $50.00 and get the paper Free.

One of my favorite sweet treats is anything with White Chocolate. I am always on the lookout for the White Chocolate Reeses’s. I found the Pumpkins at the store the other day and new I had to find a treat holder it would fit. I found one of The Paper Pixie boxes that I had to resize just a bit, but it is wonderful. Julie is a dear friend and I always look to her projects when I need a box.
I took a side view picture so you could see the Diagonal of the lid. Here is an open view.

Paper
The paper I used for this great little box is the Cute Halloween 6X6 Designer Series Paper. For the base I chose Pumpkin Pie to match the candy wrapping. The layer of the tag is Old Olive from the polka dots of the DSP. I love all of the possibilities with the colors in the DSP piece.
Stamps
The stamp set I used is the Cutest Halloween from page 51 of the Mini Catalog. The entire Suite is on those pages. A great thing about this stamp set is that the images are not scary. I do not do scary!! Which is another reason that I show a cat face to go with the Trick Or Treat!
Finishing Touches
To make the tag a little special, I used the Essential Tag Punch. It adds just enough detail to keep the tag from being a bit plain. The gorgeous ribbon is part of the Suite as well. It is Black & White 1/4″ Gingham ribbon and is a dream to work with.
