Some stamp sets just speak to me. Today’s card stars the Brewed For You Bundle. This leans more to my younger days, but definitely is a fun reminder of a group of old friends. A cold brew and grilling on a hot day are two peas in a pod.
Brewed For You Bundle
As I mentioned, this stamp set fits different tastes. There are glasses of wine, ale and a foamy beer mug for your favorite beer. After seeing the foam piece to die cut I knew this would be on my first creation with this bundle. Many years ago there was a similar stamp set and I used the Puff Paint to simiulate the foam. Now this die makes it much easier! And the sentiment is a perfect pairing.
Dies and Punches
In addition to the matching dies from the Brewed For You Bundle, there is a stand alone die set that I utilized. The circle behind the beer mug. along with the larger banner of the sentiment, are from the Stylish Shapes Dies. You have seen me use this set in the last week a few times. It is so versatile! The stitching on the inside of each piece is a great little detail. To make the smaller banner I used the Banner Pick A Punch. My sentiment was too large for the smaller banner in the die set. But the two work perfectly together here.
Paper
A perfect pairing to the beer is this paper from the He’s The Man Designer Series Paper. The grilling hints completes the card. Nothing goes better on a summer afternoon than a cold beer while grilling. Especially if it is done with good friends. And the final touch on this card is one of the Star Resin Shapes from the Fans Suite in the Mini Catalog. Think about grabbing those before they are all gone!

Today’s card is a Summer Fun challenge card. A day at the beach is my idea of Summer Fun! And the Paradise Palms stamps and dies are the perfect way to create that image.
The Make My Monday Challenge, which goes live today, is titled Summer Fun. My idea of that is sitting on the beach simply reading and enjoying the breeze. You can join the challenge as well. Siimply click on the image below and it will take you to the challenge page.
Colors
The beachy scene was created using Blending Brushes and Ink pads. There were a few stamps used from the Paradise Palms stamp set. But the majority was created by playing with the Blending Brushes. For the horizon line, I simply used a scrap of cardstock and brushed below it. The sun image is a bit of a 3D look. There is a die in the matching Palms Dies which makes a sun or moon. I used that and then adhered the circle to the layer. By coloring over top of that it gave the extra dimension.
Dies
The dies and blended colors used on this card are much more the star than any stamps used. To create the look of a peaceful beach I wanted a large palm tree. The die in the Palms Dies was perfect. This tree is larger than my focal layer. And that is perfect. It allows it to be a real focal point.
For the sentiment I had some difficulty in deciding where to place it. Not wanting to disrupt the peace of the Horizon was an important consideration. So in looking for a die shape I found the half circle die in the Splendid Stems Dies. (These dies coordinate with the Splendid Thoughts stamp set.) By placing it on the sandy area, the cute die shape doesn’t disrupt the view.

Hopefully you have been enjoying the new Annual Catalog. Personally I am really loving the new In Colors and new DSP. Today’s project showcases both with the Lovely & Lasting stamp set.
Suite of Products
The Lovely & Lasting stamp set is part of a Punch Bundle. And it is part of the Lovely In Linen Suite of products. These are on page 24 and 25 of the Annual Catalog. An added bonus to me is the lovely set has a variety of sentiments. That is adds value to a set in my opinion.
Lovely In Linen Designer Series Paper is really pretty and is a part of the suite as well. This pattern is a favorite of mine. It also makes pairing colors super simple. All of the colors used are pulled from the paper.
Punches
Without using the Punch from the bundle, I still managed to use two different punches on the project. The bundle punch is a wonderful shape, but was a tad too large for this card. My solution included both the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch and the larger of the Double Oval Punch. They may not seem to go together but I made it work. The different edges of the two actually look fairly similar when placed together.
Finishes
There are two embellishments added to today’s card. First is the shimmery Starry Sky Metallic Ribbon. It adds a great shine and bling all by itself. And second are the three Solid Faceted Gems. Each of the flowers received one as a center. The third is on the sentiment layer. These are in the new In Colors so it pulls the Sweet Sorbet from the layers of the card.

Today’s card is a simple masculine card which is a great way to use up DSP scraps. And the He’s All That stamp set is a definite winner in my book!
Paper
The He’s The Man Suite of products are all awesome. Different products from the suite are used on this card and I love them all. The DSP is a for sure winner. He’s The Man is a great name for this Designer Series Paper. All of the colors have a more masculine look and color scheme, but they all work together wonderfully. Some of the pieces you see are the front and back of a single sheet. The measurements for each piece is listed at the bottom of the post.
Stamp Set
Since this is a Suite card, using the stamp set He’s All That is a given. The different images and sentiments make for a great set. In reading the chosen sentiment it reminded me of the very old Country Music song “Hello Darlin'”. With that thought in my brain, I had to use this sentiment! LOL!!!! For a bit of information, I will also say that at first glance, and in actuality, the mustache does not line up straight with the sentiment wording. This unevenness may not work for everyone. A single Rustic Metallic Dot was the finishing touch for the sentiment layer.
Punches
Two different punches were used for this card design. The most obvious one is the sentiment layer. That punch is the Lasting Label Punch, which is part of the Lovely & Lasting Bundle. A bit of a different shape around the edges is a nice addition. And the second punch is the Banner Pick A Punch. It was used for the flags at the top of the page. The punch has three widths and I used all three. They are 1/2″ x 2″, 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ , and 1″ x 2 1/2″. To complete the look I used a small stapler for a different little touch.
Measurements
Besides the little flag sizes above, the card base is 4 1/4 X 11 then scored and folded at 5 1/2. A thin additional layer of the Sahara Sand cardstock is cut to 3 3/4 X 5. The large DSP piece is cut to 3 5/8 X 4 7/8. And finally the strip of DSP beneath the sentiment is cut to 3 5/8 X 1. It was fun playing with the different patterns to decide on which pattern went where.

The new Sending Smiles Bundle is an awesome one that works fits many occasions. Today’s project is a Sending Sympathy and Love card.
This card is a variety of different products mixed together for an eclectic look. And a different look than I normally create.
Background
There are several different elements making up this different background look. The card base is one of the New In Colors named Orchid Oasis. This color has a really Fresh look to it. Playing off of the flower center brings the Mango Melody paper into the mix. Actually it is a “back” side of the Hues of Happiness paper. The variation of color fit perfectly with my theme.
And finally the lattice looking layer is from the Organic Beauty Dies. Only half of the die cut piece is used and it is cut an an angle. Most of the little filler shapes were left out. It seemed a few were all it needed.
Flower
Following along with the richness of the card base, I went with Sweet Sorbet for the flower itself. And the center is Mango Melody matching the background paper. The stem and leaves are stamped using Shaded Spruce Ink. Please do not think the unevenness of the right leaf is poor stamping. This look was actually done on purpose and looks much better in person. I accidentally “slid” the stamp on the ink pad and loved the variegated look that it left.
Sentiments
Both of the sentiments are from the Stamp set and Dies. As is the shape for the Comfort & Strength sentiment. You know how I love all in one bundles! Instead of using the little dot of cardstock for dotting the “i”, I added one of the Iridescent Pearls. These are so pretty! And of course I had to add a few more scattered around the lattice section.

Today’s project is a fun card with one of the New Punch Bundles. It includes the Sweetest Cherries stamp set and the Cherry Builder Punch. For me the punch bundles are the favorites.
Bundle
As mentioned above, this is a Punch Bundle. The Sweetest Cherries Bundle is Oh So Sweet! There are cherries to stamp in the stamp set, along with the stems and leaves. But they are also what is included in the Cherry Builder Punch. I opted for simply punching out the images in the appropriate colors of cardstock instead of stamping first.
And the sentiment is included in the set as well. It was made to be as large of a star on this card as the cherries are. It is a clean and simple sentiment that can still stand on it’s own.
Dies and Embossing
As a way to help the cherries Pop!, I layered them using the Stylish Shapes Dies. The bit of stitching just around the inside of each is a great little detail. And the sentiment is cut using a different die from the set. It also has the little stitching. There are multiples of circles, squares and a couple of banners in the die set.
Feeling the background layer of the card needed some definition, the Gingham Embossing Folder was used on the Cherry Cobbler layer. And as a finishing touch for the cherries, one was given the little Iridescent Pearl for a highlight.
