Today I am using a stamp set that I have not used previously. I love trying new sets and sharing them with you. This one is a keeper!
The image is from the new set. It is the Fancy Phrases stamp set. It bundles with the Fancy Tag Topper Punch. Except I did not use the punch. I had planned on it, but then went a different direction. Are you familiar with that happening?
I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Ink and colored with a few Stampin’ Blends. This card’s colors are different in that I usually choose colors from the DSP or have the colors for the card ready prior to stamping. Today I stamped and colored to see what colors I liked for the flowers. I ended up with Rococo Rose and Purple Posy. Then I added Granny Apple Green for some brightness.
The embossed layer of Granny Apple Green was made using the Greenery Embossing Folders. This is a set of two that will work with the Small Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine ( once it is available). The ribbon is the Crinkle White Seam Binding Ribbon that I colored using the Rococo Rose Light Stampin’ Blend. I really love this ribbon for that purpose! It colors so quickly and dries almost immediately.
The sentiments with the Fancy Phrases set are wonderful and are birthday related. But I needed a smaller sentiment for the area I had left. So off I go to grab my Go To for small, the Itty Bitty Birthdays set. I love all of the Itty Bitty sets. They are great to have on hand.
Thank you for stopping by today! I really appreciate it and hope you will return tomorrow.

I have another #simplestamping card to share with you today. I noticed the stamp set the first time I looked through the annual catalog. It is in with the kits, but you can purchase the stamp set separately. I thought the flowers were just perfect with the definition to them. So here it is.
This card I made using the Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes. So it truly is “simple” and “quick”!! The flowers are stamped with Rococo Rose Ink and the leaves are stamped using Just Jade Ink. I added the dots to the center of the flowers with Bumblee Ink. (I know you are not used to a one word color!) The sentiment is also using the Bumblebee Ink.
And that is the card!!! How quick is this? I believe it would be awesome for newer stampers, or just to make a bunch to add to gifts, or several wrapped as a gift.
Thank you for stopping in today. Please try your hand at #simplestamping and see what you come up with. I was truly surprised at the cute card with just a handful of supplies. This is probably the shortest Supply List I have ever done! LOL!!

You know I adore the Forever Fern Bundle of products. I have used it several times. Well, today is one more. I needed a special Congratulations card and went back to these awesome definition stamps.
I rarely make a White on White card. I did today, and actually made another one for my club cards. I will be sharing that one later in the week. But for this card, I felt the gorgeous colors I used to stamp, plus the beautiful DSP , needed a clean slate behind it. The base card is Thick Whisper White, and the layer is regular weight Whisper White raised with Dimensionals.
I used the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper as the grounding spot. It is cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. In person , the stitching detail around the edges shows up a bit more than here. For the sentiment, I wanted a really pretty “Congratulations”. I found this one in Celebration of Tags. It is a new set in the annual catalog that matches the Trio of Tags Dies ,which carried over. I didn’t use the matching dies, as I wanted just a bit larger background. So I used one of my favorites the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Not only do I love the shape, but they have the stitching around the edge to match the Stitched Rectangle.
For the greenery, I used a variety of greens. I used Pear Pizzaz, Just Jade, and Pretty Peacock for the various types of leaves. I then used Soft Sea Foam with the splatter stamp from Forever Fern. It is really soft and that was just enough splatter around the card. I stamped it twice after each inking, so some spots are lighter than others.
Thank you for stopping in today. I hope you had a relaxing weekend and were able to get some crafting in. Remember that Bonus Days are over halfway gone. If you have items still on your wish list, get them now and have some Free money for the Mini Catalog debut in August!

I adore cats and dogs, and most animals. So I knew I had to have the suite of products fro the Pampered Pets. I love all of the products. Especially the designer series paper! I love the animal prints that match the stamps, and the coordinating opposite side. My favorite though is the expressions on the animal’s faces from the paper and the stamps. I do believe they Smile at us.
Of course I also believe in spoiling the pets. So the sentiment I chose for this card pairs perfectly with that idea!! In making this card I am playing along with the Case This Sketch challenge #378. Here is the sketch for the challenge.
This sketch is wonderful to use up those smaller pieces of DSP that I always seem to have quite a lot of. Neither of these layers are very large. I mentioned how much I love the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper at the beginning. I chose to use two different pieces of the paper for my layers. The words on the paper behind the pup are so cute and just perfect for it. I layered the DSP on different card stocks to share the colors a bit more since a lot of the card is the white front.
The puppy is stamped with Soft Suede and colored using the Stampin’ Blends. I used Light Cinnamon Cider for the dark places, Light Crumb Cake for the allover body, and Dark Flirty Flamingo for the collar and nose.
The sentiment is from the Many Mates stamp set. It has a great mix of sentiments and fonts. Different fonts are my preferred ones to use. The sentiment is punched using the Classic Label Punch. For the background I used the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. Because it is the 1/2″ size, the tip looks very similar to the tip from the Classic Label. Another unexpected , but happy, find.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you can return tomorrow for another new project.

When I first saw the Monogram Messages stamp set, it spoke to me. I have no idea why, just that I liked the large letter with a simple companion sentiment. I also saw it as a perfect 3X3 or 4X4 size card. Today’s card is larger. I am not sure how that happened, but all is good!
The center of the card is exactly what I envisioned originally. I stamped the C and other wording using the Stamparatus. I had planned on making several of these as Random Act of Kindness cards with the Hello. Except I decided to try the C to begin and here is the card! LOL!!!
The background is the Brights 6X6 Designer Series Paper. I cut the three pieces to 1 1/4 X 5 to layer on the Whisper White layer that is 4 X 5 1/4. The sentiment layer is raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The only other thing I did extra was stamp the balloon onto scrap paper when I stamped it on the card. I fussy cut the extra ballon and raised it on top of the first one. I added a pearl for a bit of shine. The string is hand drawn with the Pacific Point Stampin’ Write Marker.
Thank you for stopping in today! Tomorrow is the Pals Blog Hop. So come on by and hop through the great projects.

I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s InKing Royalty Blog Hop. There were some great ideas for birthday cards. You can see my post by clicking HERE. And you can go thru the full hop from my page.
Today I am sharing the Morning Star stamp set. It is a sweet stamp set that pairs with the Stitched Stars Dies that were part of the Holiday Catalog. The stamp set they were paired with in that catalog retired, but the dies carried on. I love that Stampin’ Up! is extending the life of dies and punches. That is so nice on our pocket books! Here is today’s card.
The flowers on the card are the morning glory flowers and vines. Some may consider them weeds actually. I always thought they were pretty first thing in the morning. I used the Rococo Rose for the flowers and Pear Pizzaz for the vines. They are my flowers and don’t have to be the correct color. I love the Rococo Rose.
I used the flowers as background for one of the larger of the Stitched Stars dies. The center star is two sizes smaller. I stamped the star stamp with the Rococo Rose as well. The stars are raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals for depth.
I have loved the Scalloped Linen Ribbon since it debuted. I just never seem to have the proper place for it. Today’s project is Perfect!!! I paired the ribbon with the new Label Me Fancy Punch. I punched out the sentiment, which is from the stamp set. I also used the ribbon slot that is part of the punch. There are guides on the bottom of the punch on each end of the slot to assist you in lining it up. I was very pleased at how easy it worked. I usually have a backing for my sentiment layers. With the ribbon slides and the sentiment like a buckle, I did not feel it needed a backing. You will see me using that punch a lot more now that I have played with it!
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you liked today’s card and will return tomorrow for another one.
