The card I have to share with you today highlights the gorgeous new Lovely Garden DSP. It is a quick card that is oh so pretty! And is paired with an awesome stamp set.
STAMPS
The stamped flowers match almost exactly to the DSP. And they are not part of a set. I was confused at first when I saw the two together! The stamps are from the fabulous Memorable Blooms Bundle. There are a couple of floral images and a few sentiments. I love this sentiment. It is a favorite for sure. The fun fonts are a winner.
To pair this stamp with the DSP was a given. This sweet flower stamp is colored using Old Olive on the leaves and Fresh Freesia to highlight the flowers. The image is stamped on Basic White to match the DSP I only highlights parts of the flowers and left the other white. It does not show as well as the paper flowers do. But I like just the highlights. Having the matching Die set is a good thing. And only having to cut one small flower was super quick and simple.
PAPERS
The star of the card is probably this DSP. It is from the new Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper. Actually the suite of products it is part of is named Lovely Gardens Suite. The new Online Exclusives are wonderful and this is one of the really nice ones. This suite will be available beginning tomorrow I believe. I really love this flower pattern. I pulled the Garden Green for the card base. And the Fresh Freesia as the thin layer. Then when trying to decide on the sentiment and flower, I opted to add a strip across the lower part. Without the circle the cut flowers faded into the paper even with the Fresh Freesia strip. So I added the circle to help it stand out.
EXTRAS
There are several Extras today. In the order of using them, I have the 2″ Circle Punch behind the Die cut flower. Then the Fresh Freesia Faux Velvet Ribbon is layered behind the circle. For a velvet type ribbon, this one is soft and easy to work with. This ribbon is actually part of the Lovely Gardens Suite of products and should be out when the new Online Exclusives drop. I believe that is tomorrow. And finally is the bling. I have added a Rhinestone to the center of the two Die cut flowers and a third next to the sentiment.

My project to share with you is a seriously quick and a bit of the unusual for me. I have only the sentiment as the stamping on the front of the card.
PAPERS
The Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper is the reason for so little actual stamping. Not only is the striped DSP from that pack, but so is the colorful balloon bundle. There are actually two options for this DSP. One is only the DSP and the other is the DSP plus the sticker sheet. This is from the sticker sheet. I normally prefer to do my stamping instead of precut / colored images. However the sticker sheet in this pack of paper is over the top in terms of color and beauty. In fact the entire pack of paper is probably the prettiest I can remember in a while.
This background sheet of DSP, along with the balloons could be for a birthday, baby shower, or any celebration. I love the soft colors even though I am a Brights person normally. For this card I paired the stripes with the Soft Sea Foam card base and then added the sentiment on a strip of Pretty In Pink.
STAMPS
The sentiment is from the Sentimental Park stamp set. With the smaller size of the fonts here I think it is a good one for inside and front sentiments. To draw a little more attention to the sentiment I flagged the ends with my Paper Snips. I actually raised it with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and placed it over the knot in the strings of the balloons.
EXTRAS
To compliment all of the soft colors already existing on the card I kept the bling soft as well. These are from the Party Dots embellishments. They actually are part of the suite of products this DSP is included in. There are three different colors of dots with two different sizes of each. I did one of each color in the larger size.

Last Reminder…..Today is the final day of Sale-A-Bration and all that goes with it. This means the awesome Free products and the great Starter Kit special go away tonight.
I have a simple and quick Friday card for you. This one is giving someone a Big Hug with a card. How sweet is that! Plus it is a one layer card, almost anyway.
STAMPS
There are two different stamp sets used today. First is the Natural Botanicals. This is a photopolymer stamp set. And these are a set of two sided stamps. What that means is they are designed to be stamped not only on the details side, but also the reverse, smooth side. You can see this on my card. The softer background is the reverse, or solid, side of the stamp. I stamped these using Pool Party Ink that is stamped off for a softer look.
The detailed stampings are from the same stamp set. This stamp is using the detailed side of the stamp and is colored with Lost Lagoon Ink. I really love the mix of the shadow and then the detailed leaves. Another look is to use both sides of the same stamp and layer on top or as I did. There are 6 images in this set so lots of possibilities. Also this set was added to the February portion of SAB. So with a qualifying order, you can get this set FREE. Be sure and choose it from the list of SAB items at checkout. And do not use the product number I have listed in my Supply List at the bottom of the post. There is a separate number for the Free one.
The PUNCH is part of the second stamp set. This is the Hugs For Love Bundle. You all know how much I love punches! I believe this one is special because of the shape. We do not have a punch, or even Dies really that have the angles of this punch shape. And it can be used with the straight sides either top/bottom or as I did on the sides. It is versatile and fairly large. The punch is part of the bundle but has it’s own name. It is the To The Point Label Punch. Additionally, there is a second stamp set in the Mini Catalog that can pair with the punch. It is the Bright Borders stamp set. Please check it out.
PAPERS
There are no extra designer papers on this card. It happens but not very often. I made my own background with the botanical stamps and kept it simple after that. The card base is Pool Party carrdstock with the layer of Lost Lagoon. As I mentioned at the top, it is a quick and easy one today.
EXTRAS
The punch can count as an extra even though it is part of the bundle. Being new gives it some leeway. But the Lost Lagoon Soft Cording is a fabulous extra! It thicker than bakers twine, but very soft. I did a pretend bow behind the punched layer. That is on dimensionals and the cording did not create a hump behind. So that should give you an idea of thickness. For the bling, I went with a soft bling. The similar tones of everything on the card called for more of the same. So the Party Dots were a go to choice. These are in soft colors and the one I chose pairs in great.

First thing today I have a reminder about Sale-A-Bration! This is the last few days to get these items at no cost! And there are a few of the second release products that are active in catalogs right now. What a bonus! So don’t miss out. And reach out to me if you have any questions.
Today I am sharing the Spring Corners Bundle and pairing it with a beautiful DSP from SAB. This is one of the fabulous products from this last release of Online Products. They are fun and exciting stamp sets with matching Dies. Plus more are coming in March. The bright Sale-A-Bration DSP pairs perfectly with this fun stamp set.
STAMPS& DIES
The Spring Corners Bundle has a couple of corner sentiments in addition to images that pair with those sentiments. For the front of the I had to use one of the corner sentiments. I think that is such a refreshing idea. And then the group of balloons reinforces the “amazing day” idea.
These stampings are done with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink . Then the balloons are colored using Stampin’ Blends. Those colors are pulled form the DSP. This gave me all kinds of color options. So I chose Melon Mambo, Peach Pie, and Shy Shamrock for the balloon colors. These balloons are also stamped on the inside of the card along with a Happy Birthday. For the front the balloons are Die cut with a matching Die. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals under the balloons for depth, but left the bottom free. That allows the bow to sit a little bit flatter.
PAPERS
This unusual mix of cardstock colors are both pulled from the floral piece of DSP. I have been on a Blueberry Bushel kick of late and continued that here. It is just a bright and happy blue. Then to soften things for the DSP pieces, I went with Peach Pie for the layer. It acts as the leading in the stain glass pieced top layer.
The DSP is from the Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper from Sale-A-Bration. I love these flowers. They are a mix of Brights but with almost all of the color families represented. This makes it so simple to create a variety of cards using different card bases.
The top layer is created with a piece of Peach Pie measuring 4 X 5 1/4. The DSP is all 1″ widths. The top left is 1 X 1, the floral piece is 1 X 4, and the bottom one is 2 3/4 X 1. (Always be careful with your cutting if using directional paper! ) Then the Basic White section is 2 3/4 X 4 to stamp the sentiment.
EXTRAS
There are two Extras, bling and sweet ribbon. The ribbon is the new Daffodil Delight Satin Ribbon. I love this narrow ribbon. It is a breeze to tie a bow with. And then of course bling. Today I chose to use Rhinestones. A sparkle is always needed for a celebration.
Here is the inside view of the card.

I have been behind on my promotion of SAB. And sadly it is coming to a close on Friday. The card I am sharing contains one of the most popular of the SAB items. It is the Toadstool Gardens Designer Series paper. This paper is so fun and can be used for almost any card idea.
STAMPS& PUNCH
The fabulous sentiment has stolen the show on this card! That fun font of the Poppin’ Up is one of the best I have seen. It is from the Terrific Toadstools stamp set. As are the fun mushrooms and grass stamps.
The mushrooms are stamped with Poppy Parade ink and Melon Mambo ink. I love the addition of the bright green of the grass or leaf image. Those are stamped using Granny Apple Green. And the stems, plus the sentiment, are stamped using Early Espresso Ink.
The mushrooms have a punch that punches the mushroom head and stem. This punch does not leave a white outline, so it really makes it easier to line up without that worry. I have used Stampin’ Dimensionals under the head of the larger mushroom to add some depth. And the fabulous sentiment layer is raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals as well.
PAPERS
These fun DSP sheets just make me smile! The colors remind me of the 1970’s and I remember wearing all of those colors. Personally I love the mix of orange and pink. The different greens just brings everything together. These DSP sheets are from Sale-A-Bration. The Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper is a Free product with a qualifying order through the end of February. So only a few days left.
The DSP strips are where all of the colors of the card were pulled from. I went with a very light card base of Fresh Freesia. It really pulls that color from the two DSP sheets. The sentiment layer is also a piece of the DSP. Stamping on the DSP always seems so special.
EXTRAS
The mushrooms are layered onto a Basic White die cut from the Spotlight on Nature Dies. These fun circles all have different details around the edge. It adds an extra touch. And for the bling I went with a single Sunny Day Iridescent Dots. The orange really pops with all of the colors.

You are getting a couple of sneak peeks of upcoming Online Exclusives. I have gone a bit overboard on the demonstrator pre order on this upcoming release. It is fabulous. The card I am sharing is a case of the sample card when this goes Live next month.
STAMPS
These trees are from the upcoming Online Exclusive stamp set Wooded Acres. I love the simple tree textures. However there is almost the exact stamp, but with full leaves, included in the set. It is a two stamp set. And after this card I am really excited to play with it even more.
The trees are stamped using Pebbled Path Ink. I believe it gives it the far off in the distance look without being too bold. If you look at the trio of trees on the bottom right and add them to the edge of the left side, that is the length of the stamp. So you can see how I stamped it off the paper with every inking.
The sentiment is from another of the preorder Online Exclusives. It is from a large Suite of products. This sentiment is from the Textured Notes stamp set. And like I said, it is a large Suite that you will fall in love with if you like natural and texture.
PAPERS& INKS
There are no special papers today. I used Berry Burst cardstock as the base with Wild Wheat cardstock for the narrow layer. Then I created the stamped background with inks and blending brushes. In my mind, it is a sunset view in the mountains.
The bottom section is a light coloring using Wild Wheat Ink. Next is the sunset using Berry Burst Ink. Finally the sky is Misty Moonlight. All of the colors were done fairly lightly.
EXTRAS
To tie in all of the ink colors I added the Natural Tones Linen Thread in the dark blue. I had used the other two ink colors with matching paper. But had not used a blue paper. So a wrap around and a bow took care of the blues.
The final touch is the bling! I used the Sale-A-Bration Purple Adhesive Sequins scattered around. There are different shades of purple/pink sequins in the package. I used three different shades to go along with my color shading.
