My card for today is what I call a Pam Card. My up – upline, Pam Morris, makes gorgeous cards that are perfect and simple layers. This is one little stamp and some beautiful DSP. I hope Pam is proud. 🙂
STAMPS
This sweet little flower stamp is from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set. I love the simple look of them. The image is inked with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored with stampin’ Blends. I used colors from the DSP for this. They are Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. It is a soft look for the soft DSP.
PAPERS
The wonderful background of this card is a sheet of the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper. For me these sheets look like photography backgrounds Even though I am definitely a Brights person, this soft sheet really makes me smile. It is so calm looking.
I used a Thick Basic White for the card base to keep the “clean” look. Then I pulled Balmy Blue from the DSP for the thin layer behind the DSP as well as the stamped layer. I think any of the Subtles Color Family would have worked for this.
EXTRAS
There is a single Extra on today’s card. I just had to add a touch of bling. This one is new and will be available in the new Annual Catalog in May. I received them at the Onstage Event a few weeks ago. This is a 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearl. There are all of the new In Colors in this package. The one I used is the new soft blue called Cloud Cover. That is such an appropriate name!

Spring is here! At least with everything blooming anyway. This makes me think of flowers, birds, and butterflies. My card today is a fluttering butterfly that is pretty simple to create.
STAMPBUNDLE
This fluttering butterfly is created using the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle. The Hybrid Embossing Folder was used to create the embossed layer, as well as cut the large butterfly from the center. One swoop through the Cut & Emboss Machine and that section is complete.
Then all I had to do was Die cut the delicate butterfly from Basic White cardstock. I added the White and floral layer behind the embossed layer first. Then added the white butterfly with a single Glue Dot to the center of the body. This allows the wings to be free to float around a bit.
PAPERS
The “floral” part of the card is the DSP behind the butterfly cut out. This piece was chosen because of the small print and to carry on my purple theme. It is a beautiful piece of DSP from the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper.
To pair with the DSP, I chose Gorgeous Grape for the card base. And then added the embossed layer using Highland Heather. I really love these two colors together. The thin White layer helps the delicate butterfly to pop a bit. Plus brings out the bit of white in the DSP.
EXTRAS
There are not really much extra needed today. The beautiful embossing and the delicate butterfly are both wonderful. However there must be a little bling. So I chose the Purple Shimmer Gems to continue with my purple card. I have a smaller one on the butterfly body and then two of the larger size scattered around the card.

My favorite colors from Stampin’ Up! are the Brights Collection. The Ocean Friends Suite is full of the Bright colors and feeds my need. Plus these papers just make me Smile!
And this one is a Fun Fold as well.
STAMPS
There are two different stamp sets used on this Fun Fold card. Both of the sentiments are from the Pattern of Friendship stamp set. The front sentiment is a definite favorite of mine. Cards should make us Smile, and this sentiment really does for me. And the inside Bubble looking font of Happy Birthday is from the same set.
To add some additional “sea” or “ocean” to the inside of the card, I added the bubbles around the sentiment. These are from the Ocean Friends stamp set. The bubbles paired with the starfish DSP and did not leave the inside as plain.
PUNCH
The fun sentiment layer on the front is made using the awesome Sweetest Star Punch. I really love this punch and was so happy it carried over. You may remember it from the Fall Mini Catalog. It was a bundle with a Mr. and Mrs. Claus stamp set. To create my focal layer, I stamped two of the stars and layered them on top of each other but spread out. It was easier to stamp the sentiment after punching out the star. Since the stamp set is photopolymer I could see placement perfectly. And much simpler than stamping and then trying to get it positioned where I wanted it when trying to punch.
PAPERS
These bright colors from the Friends of the Ocean Designer Series Paper are what created the card. I love the mix of Brights in the starfish piece. And I am old enough to remember when orange and pink were first paired together back in my younger days. I loved it back then as well as now. Both of these papers are from that DSP.
The card base is pulled from the DSP. I used Pumpkin Pie as the color. Lemon Lime Twist and Summer Splash are the two star colors. The card base is 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 and scored at 1 1/2 and 5 3/4 to make the fun fold. The smallest section is the bottom and I used Tear & Tape to close the edges. A gift card will fit in here as well as the sentiment layer.
The front DSP layers are placed on a Basic White layer that measures 5 X 3 3/4. To add this to the front of the card, I added my glue to the card front. This ensured I would not have too much glue and glue my card shut!
EXTRAS
The bling and ribbon are the two Extras today. It was used to join the two patterns of DSP together after adhering them to the Basic White base. Plus it gives a grounding spot for the star.
I chose the Sunny Day Iridescent Dots for my bling. There are three different colors in two different sizes on the package. I scattered all three colors around the card. These are also part of the Friends of the Ocean Suite of products.

I don’t know how you work with ideas, but mine tend to get off track. The card I have today is one that started out as a case of one I received at OnStage. It included stamping on the DSP. I love doing that so that got me started. And then it veered way off from that inspiration card. They have nothing in common except for stamping on DSP! LOL!! That is ok because I feel it is more my own. Except I cannot help but laugh at myself. Here is the small amount of stamping on the DSP.
STAMPS& DIES
There is a bundle as well as the Elements of Text stamp set that I mentioned. Beginning with the stamping on DSP, I used the long and narrow stamp from the set. It is intended to be a background so I wanted a softer stamping. Basic Beige on this light DSP worked perfectly. It actually gave a light green look which worked perfectly with the large leafy piece.
The bundle is the Memorable Blooms Bundle. There is not a stamp for the large leaf, just a Die, but I love the presence it brings to the card. For the small floral image, I used Basic Gray to stamp on Very Vanilla cardstock. Then to keep the lighter tones going, I colored with Pretty In Pink Blends just around the edges. The leaves are colored with Old Olive Blends both light and dark.
PAPERS
There are several colors of cardstock, along with the simple piece of DSP. The card base is Old Olive to match the large leaf. (I did try Basic Beige for all light tones but it all faded together.) The embossed area is Crumb Cake for a lot of texture with one swipe of the embossing machine. Next is an off-center piece of Basic Beige. And on top of that is the DSP.
That little piece of DSP came from the Country Lace Designer Series Paper. Most of the sheets in this pack are softer colors. There are some darker blue sheets, but most seem to be a Basic Beige color. You can see the light pattern in the piece I chose. I really do love stamping on DSP!
EXTRAS
To create this card took several different Extra products. First is the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder. This creates a stand out texture layer. Then to add more texture, along with some bling, I wrapped the Gold Twisted Thread around those layers twice. A simple knot off to the side completed this. And finally a flour needs a butterfly. Now that Spring is trying to appear, I felt it appropriate to add a Brushed Brass Butterfly as the bling.
MEASUREMENTS
This card base of Old Olive measures 4 1/4 X 11 and is scored and folded at 5 1/2. The Crumb Cake embossed layer is 4 X 5 1/4. For the off-center pieces, the Basic Beige measures 3 X 4 1/2 and the DSP is 3 X 4. There is a piece of Very Vanilla as the inside layer of the card cut to 4 X 5 1/4.

I have been back from an Amazing Stampin’ Up! OnStage Event for a couple of days. A fun time was had for sure. We all received the upcoming Annual Catalog as well as some sneak peeks at upcoming May Online Exclusives. There are some awesome products in both releases.
This is a reminder to please check out the Online Exclusives currently available. Samples are shown with each product the same as in the catalog. I will admit that it has taken me a bit of time to get used to looking online. But then I think that I do this with most of the places I shop regularly. So why not with SU!
The card I have to share today is a simple Thank You type card. It is for all of you. You have all supported me in some way with my business and I am very grateful! This is a simple layout that can be simplified or taken up a notch, depending on your time or wishes.
STAMPS
The stamped images are both from the Memorable Blooms stamp set. There is a bundled Die set, but I opted to stamp the floral image on the larger white layer. I had chosen the DSP first so colored the floral with Stampin’ Blends to match the paper. The flowers are Pretty In PInk with Pretty Peacock as the leaves.
To add the sentiment layer was a bit of a trial! The way everything layed out did not leave much room. So I got creative and left a straight edge along the top and sides with the bottom fussy cut. I actually like how it turned out. To create this, I first fussy cut the sentiment and then layered that onto the Pretty Peacock paper. Then it was fairly easy to fussy cut around the fussy cut. LOL!!!
PAPERS
There are actually two different sheets of DSP used. Both are from the Lily Pond Lane Designer Series Paper. This 6X6 pack is so fun with the lily pond and duck images on one side and complimentary design sheets on the reverse. I have used two of the reverse sides. The sentiment layer is a soft dotted pattern. And the strip of little flowers is what brought in the Pretty Peacock cardstock. I chose that as the thin layers and Pretty In Pink as the card base.
The card base measures 5 1/2 X 8 1/2. I added the thin layer of Pretty Peacock at 5 1/8 X 3 7/8. That left the Basic White layer to 5 X 3 3/4. And the DSP strip on the left only runs the length of the White. It measures 1 1/8 X 3 3/4.
EXTRAS
The DSP strip and the fussy cut sentiment added some extra touches to the card layout. So it really did not require a lot of Extras! It did require bling however. I went with the extra bling in 5 Rhinestone jewels. They are scattered around the flowers and a single one added to the sentiment.

The card today is made from the fabulous new Textured Notes Suite of products. I did not use everything, but came close. If you like texture, then these products are for you.
STAMPBUNDLE
The Textured Notes Bundle is one of the new Online Exclusives that dropped yesterday. This is definitely a favorite. I first was drawn to this bundle because of the Dies. They are rectangle, layering Dies with different detailing around the edges of each. You can see the detail on the cane weave DSP layer as well as the sentiment layer.
Then after getting the stamp set, I was really drawn to the different images of texture and the simple floral. That doesn’t even take into account the sweet sentiments. There are a couple of different ones that have this fun scripted font. You can also see a different detail on the sentiment layer. I added the little floral to the sentiment layer by fussy cutting it. It was not difficult or time consuming to do. The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso Ink with the foliage tone on tone with Pecan Pie.
PAPERS
These different papers may be the star of the card actually. They are both part of the Woven Textures Designer Series Paper. The images are so clear and detailed that you want to run your fingers across them to feel the texture! The cane weave is beautiful, but I also love the linen look on the sentiment layer. And it is actually the opposite side of the cane weave. All of the sheets are as vibrant as these.
The card base and layer are colors I saw in the DSP. For the card base I went with Pecan Pie and then Crumb Cake for the layer. These work very well together.
SPECIAL TOUCHES
The most stand out of the card may be the bottom layer. This cardboard looking layer is made using the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder. The detail and depth of the design is fabulous. Even though it is simply a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, it looks like much more.
There must be bling. Although with the more rustic scene, I felt shiny bling would be out of place. So the new Neutral Matte Dots fit the need perfectly. Actually I did not realize the Pecan Pie was even one of the dot colors. There is a trio of them scattered around.
