The Zany Zoo suite is one of the most fun of any in the Annual Catalog. At least in my opinion anyway. I have used it today for an anytime card that would also work for anyone.
Stamp Bundle
The Zany Zoo Bundle is one for any person I know. And today’s card could be a birthday or any reason to celebrate someone. And I love that! The one image that I have not used previously is this skunk. He / She is so adorable and looks like they are up for an adventure. The image is cut from the DSP using one of the Dies from the Stamp Bundle. The trees were fussy cut from the paper. It was not at all difficult to cut out.
The banner is also included in the Dies. As is the stamped sentiment. The banner only cuts the Basic White banner and not the Lemon Lime Twist one. I wanted a layer of course. My way around this was to use the Die to emboss the outline using the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine. Then I simply cut around the embossed, or rather debossed, area. The sentiment is included in the stamp set as well.
Papers
My layers came from the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper. I knew I wanted the skunk and the trees. And the trees are Lemon Lime Twist. So that became the card base. The black and white DSP is also in that paper pack. All of the reverse sides of the DSP are different black and white prints. This made the card pretty easy. Lemon Lime Twist for the card base with a layer of Basic White and then the DSP. Easy Peasy!!!

This month, the theme is CASE the Catalog. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The card I chose to case is one with some easy layers and fun tags. It is on page 45 of the Annual Catalog and the far right one. My version is both darker and brighter.
Colors
The colors for this card came from the top layer of DSP. Actually both layers are from the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Papers. I love the mix of the Night of Navy and Fresh Freesia together. These colors carried over from the DSP to the card base and the two tags. And even to the die cut flowers.
Dies
The Die cut tags are the star of this show. Both of them are beautifully detailed. They are both from the Online Exclusives – Designer Tags Dies. There are three detailed ones the size of the Navy one as well as a solid Die to layer behind. My favorite is the sentiment though. The little stitching and flower on the end are so cute.
The die cut flowers behind the tags are from the Timeless Arrangements Dies. These are awesome floral dies in that they are all on a little bar. It makes them very easy to layer and not have a lot of tiny pieces to try to glue. I left the tops of all of the floral free for added texture.
Stamps and Finishes
The little “Thanks” sentiment is from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set. It is a favorite as it fits on a lot of small dies as well as just a little strip of card stock. The bow is from the 2022-2024 In Color Bakers Twine. I went a bit wild and used three strands for this bow! The blue is a bit brighter than the NIght of Navy used elsewhere but that is fine and helps it stand out. And my finishing touch is a scattering of the Iridescent Pearls. They match everything and add some sparkle to the darker colors.
Thank you for stopping in today!!

I hope you were able to take advantage of some of the new promotions yesterday! There are new items in the Online Store, a Clearance Rack Refresh, and the Bonus Days! I have a little more explanation of the Bonus Days Coupons at the bottom of the post.
Today’s card is a bit different from my norm. I have a Watercolor background for the lovely Knitting Llama! This was a fun experiment and I hope you like it.
Stamp Bundle
This adorable knitting Llama is from the Zany Zoo Bundle. I love the quirky animal stamps. And this Bundle is a favorite. In general my card thought is that one should give you a Smile. These definitely do that!
The Llama is stamped and colored using Stampin’ Blends. She was left White, except for the legs. I really have no idea what color Llamas are, but she has Smoky Slate Light arms and legs. The yarn is Boho Blue with darker stripes of Orchid Oasis. Her chair is Bubble Bath to match the layer. And she is cut using the matching Die from the set. The perfect sentiment is from the stamp set as well. I love the boldness of it!
Colors
The idea for this card was bright! So the layers needed to be bright and happy colors. I went with Highland Heather as the card base with a layer of Pool Party. Then another layer, which is not normal for me, of Bubble Bath. But all of these are in the other parts of the card. So why not!!
Watercolor
The watercoloring idea came from a Demonstrator event from Stampin’ Up!. Another demonstrator made a card with a similar watercolor style. Her card was gorgeous, so I knew I wanted to give it a try. In theory it is a very simple technique. Mine came out better than I expected but still needs practice. Using the Fluid 100 Watercolor paper is a main component. It is thick and holds the color. I used Pool Party and Highland Heather Re-inkers to create the background. The largest of the Water Painters was also used.

Happy July 4th to all of you! I have a quick Celebration card to share today. It features the Cheerful Daisies Bundle and Bright & Beautiful DSP.
Daisies
The Cheerful Daisies, which are back in stock, are the star of this card. I made them as daisies, but if you squint your eyes a bit they could be seen as fireworks! LOL!! They are made with the Cheerful Daisies Dies. The solid daisies are made with Blueberry Bliss and Berry Burst card stock. The White toppers are from the Dies as well. They are White embossed on White paper. It really shows in person, but not so much on the photo.
Sentiment
The front Celebrate sentiment is from the Celebrate With Tags stamp set. There are other words attached on the stamp. However all I wanted was the Celebrate. So I used Post It tape to cover them while inking, removed the tape prior to stamping, and have exactly what I wanted to finish the card.
The shape of the sentiment is from the Something Fancy Dies. I love the angle cut and the little bit of embossed edge it leaves. This leaves a cleaner look than when I simply cut my own angles.
Papers and Finishes
The fun background papers are from the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series paper. They set the colors for the rest of the card. Berry Burst is not exactly red, but close enough! For my layers though I liked Blueberry Bushel as the card base. It is a beautiful color.
To finish the card I turned to the 2023-2025 In Color Dots. I used the larger and smaller of the Boho Blue and Berry Burst ones. They are centers for the Daisies as well as scattered around the card.
Thank you for stopping in today!!! I hope you have a wonderful Holiday with whatever your plans are.

My card today is a Fun Fold and a Birthday with the beautiful Irresistible Blooms products. Cards are so easy with gorgeous paper to do a lot of the work for you!
This card was created for the Make My Monday Blog Challenge. The challenge for this two weeks is Birthdays. Click on the link photo and see the cards from the other design team members. And you can add your own card as well. I hope you will join in the fun!
Fun Fold
This card is a simple Fun Fold that I cased from Patty Bennett. From the front it appears a regular fold card. Here is the open view.
I think you can see that the front panel tucks beneath the flower. To open the card you pull back on the narrow right side panel, where the flower layer is attached, and that allows the front to open.
Card base is cut to 7 1/2 X 5 1/2 and scored at 3 1/4 and 6 1/2
White layers are 3 X 5 1/4 (front and inside sentiment) and 7/8 X 5 1/4
DSP layers are 2 7/8 X 5 1/8 and 3/4 X 5 1/8
Papers and Colors
The gorgeous Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper is the star of this card. I used one sheet of the DSP and cut it to continue across the card. For the card base I pulled the Daffodil Delight for a bright frame to the DSP. The flowers are stamped using Calypso Coral and highlighted with some Daffodil Delight in the center.
Stamps, Dies, and Punches
The floral layer was created with a variety of products. The flower images are from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set. They are die cut with the matching dies. The background circle is made with the 2 3/8 Circle Punch. And to add a Happy Birthday that circle is with the 1 3/4 Circle Punch. That Happy Birthday, as well as the inside sentiment, are from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set. For some bling, I added a few Tinsel Gems 4 pack with one touched up a bit with the Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends. And there is a surprise when the card is open! The Birthday on the front has a little hidden Brushed Brass Butterfly that you only see when the card is open!

The card I have to share with you today is one that was created during the forever rain we seemed to have last week. But I made a Happy rainy day card. LOL!! It, of course, stars the Playing In The Rain stamp set.
Stamps
Weather is not always what we want, nor is life!, so we have to make the best of it. That is the idea behind this card. It is an easy card to create with the fun Playing In The Rain stamp set. All of the images are included in the set which is awesome.
The images were all stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends. I went a little outside the norm with my daisies and made them Gerber Daisies so I could have blue ones! The only non black stamping is the rain drops. That is done using Pool Party and matches the water puddle under the bunny. It is not shown, but I stamped a little rain and flowers on the inside of the card as well.
Papers and Colors
To have a “blue” sky, I went with the Glorious Gingham Blueberry Bushel. It was a really difficult decision as to which side of the paper to use. The other side is the larger plaid / gingham. Ultimately the small check won out and I love it. To compliment the bunny, I used Crumb Cake for the card base and then a layer of Blueberrry Bushel. The finishing touch is a single Glossy Dot to further emphasize the rain color.
Reminder for the Designer Series Paper Sale……..only today and tomorrow to take advantage of the discount on the wonderful DSP. The Glorious Gingham that I used today is included in the sale!
The Starter Kit promotion to receive an additional $30.00 of product also ends tomorrow!!! I would love to talk with you about this if you have an interest.
