I totally agree with the sentiment of the Title today. And my 4th in the Silly Old Bear card series is showcasing Friends. As the other cards have been, this one is very simple, and just adorable.
Papers
The papers are the star as is usual. This is another of the scenes from a sheet of the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper. It is amazing that one sheet of DSP can be the base for five very different cards. The Stampin’ Up! Artists are amazing!! This scene is a dinner with Friends.
The colors for the card base and layers are pulled from the scene. I went with Hydrangea Hue again as I love how it works with the sky. As a type of banner hanging behind the scene, I used Peaceful Pine. It did not go as planned in that the scene is a tad too low at the bottom for the Pine to show there. Then for the wonderful sentiment I used Cherry Cobbler to match the door that is in the tree. This doorway is a bit hidden in the scene.
Stamp and Die Bundle
The sentiment layers are a big part of this card instead of blending in as yesterday’s did. This one stands out proudly! These gorgeous shapes are Dies from the Sweet Words & Labels Dies. The shapes and stitching are so cute but I especially love the little hearts on the White layer.
There was a pleasant surprise in seeing this sentiment in the Sweet Words & Labels stamp set. This is a favorite comment of mine and I was so happy to see it on a stamp. Plus it is the perfect match for the table scene. This would make a beautiful Thanksgiving card.
Extras
There is one Extra today. That is a single 2026-2028 In Color Dot in the Golden Glow color added to the sentiment. The color matches Mr. Bear and could be the hanger for the sign. Simple for a sweet little card.
