Last week I made a Really Sparkly gift card holder for the Pals Blog Hop. You can see that post HERE. So I am using some of the same pack of Joyous Noel Glimmer DSP for today’s card. I just used a different color.
My Sparkly, Dashing Deer! For all the sparkle and shine, there is actually very little stamping involved on this one. I die cut the deer and the filigree in the corner using the Dies from the Dashing Deer Bundle. I stamped on the deer with the small flower in the stamp set, and that is it.
I used the multi-purpose adhesive sheets for the filigree. It would have been tedious to attempt to get glue on those little pieces. I believe even using the fine tip glue pen it would be exacting. So the multi-purpose adhesive sheets to the rescue. You just attach the sheet to your card stock before you die cut and easy peasy. You have basically turned your card stock into a sticker. This works especially well when you are trying to adhere something to the glimmer DSP.
For the finishing touch, I added the gold pearls to the flowers I stamped on the deer. Its a simple way to up the game just a bit. And of course, this had to be a Rudolph. So I added one Red Rhinestone to the tip of the nose for the final bling, and necessary touch, for my card.
Thank you for visiting today! Please come back tomorrow for the InKing Royalty Blog Hop. I cannot wait to see what my fellow demonstrators have come up with this month.
