Today’s card was made for a friend’s birthday and uses a new Punch Bundle. It is the Curved Occasions Bundle. This has some fun retro type stamps as well as some versatile ones. I love it!
Stamps
There are several new and fun products used on this card. But I am going to begin with the stamp set. As I said at the top of the post this is the Curved Occasions Bundle. The bundled part is a Punch! LOVE it!!! It is an arch that has a few saying in the set that are curved to fit. But we all know how flexible the photopolymer stamps can be. I see using this quite often with a variety of sentiments. The curved banner is fairly long.
The stamped flowers are part of the stamp set and was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, as was the sentiment. My friend loves purple, so the flowers are colored with shades of purple Stampin’ Blends.
Layers
This card ended up with quite a few layers on it. For a pop of color there is a thin layer of Basic Black card stock. Next is an embossed layer using the Painted Posies Embossing Folder. I even touched a few of the flowers with the Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend for a different look.
The next layers are two of the New Deckled Circles Dies. These are in the Mini and there are a lot of them!! And there are some really large ones so great for scrapbooking as well as card making!

The September – December Mini Catalog is live today!! Woohoo!! I have my order ready to go for my Paper Shares and product I did not get on my Pre-order. Hopefully you are as excited as I am.
Today’s card is a new Punch Bundle from the Mini Catalog. With a couple of new extras added in. The weather is not saying Fall where I am, but for many it is right around the corner.
Background
This card features a variety of products. But one of the first I notice, besides the sign, is the background. So we are beginning there. I created the background by using a mask from the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks. This set has layering stencils, or masks, to create a sunflower scene, plus this Fall , and a herringbone looking one. Deciding on colors and then how they will blend is the hard part.
For this background I used Daffodil Delight lightly all over, then added some Old Olive, and finally some Copper Clay. I did not want it to be too dark. But maybe should have added some Blackberry Bliss to pop some. The best part is the stencil cleans in just a second under running water. I was impressed!
Stamp Bundle
The stamp set used is the Pick of The Patch. And it has a matching Punch! Yay on the punch because they are my favorite. Both of the pumpkins, stems, and leaves are all in the punch. So easy peasy there. I stamped the pumpkins with Pumpkin Pie Ink and then filled in some shadows with the Copper Clay Stampin’ Blends. The leaves and stem are stamped with Old Olive.
The sentiment is from the stamp set as well. It is stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and is stamped on a piece of the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper. I thought a wooden sign was perfect for the pumpkin patch.
Dies
The sign is cut using a Die from the Stars At Night Die set. I love the beautiful stars in that stamp set and dies, which is a hybrid by the way. But the shape of this die is what really sold me. And yes I know that is silly! For me a great shape that fits a large number of sentiments is a must have!!
The card is finished with a scattering of the Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots. The Copper one was placed as a nail holding up the sign. And a few green ones are scattered. To finish a bit more, I added some flecks from the Copper Clay Stampin’ Write Marker.

The card I have to share today is one that hit home with me as I made it. It is about spending time with friends. I know that I need to get outside my little world and do just that. It is good for all of us! And this stamp set is a great beginning.
Stamps
All of these stamps are from the set Warm Welcome. And that is an apt name for this set. The smiling cat makes me smile every time! This set has moved to the Online Exclusives site and is available now. There are a variety of images to put in the doorway and great sentiments to match.
I went with a simple pairing of the friends with coffee, or tea. Of course the cat has to be there to greet everyone! All are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends. The shadow of the door on the ground was made with Light Gray Granite Stampin’ Blend.
Layers
To keep this a really simple card, I started with a base of Thick Basic White. The layer is Orchid Oasis, as is the door. The layers are smaller which seems to highlight the top layer more. The Orchid Oasis is 3 5/8 X 4 7/8 and the top Basic White is 3 1/2 X 4 3/4. There is a single Bling that does not show in the photo very well. It is one of the Adhesive Back Sparkle Gems. I used it as the doorknob. But since it is dark and the door is also, you have to look really close.

I hope you are having a relaxing Labor Day Holiday with friends and family. My post is late because I have been relaxing too much! And realizing that I never put out my Paper Share information. Some of my regular share customers reached out early and that messed with my mind! If you have interest message me today and I will get to you quickly. I apologize for falling down on the job!!
Today’s card is a dainty floral birthday with some added texture layers. It is also pretty quick and simple in putting together!
Stamps and Dies
This fun set and Bundle is aptly named Dainty Delight. The florals are all of the dainty variety and are smaller in size. They are great for a simple card, or with a bit added as I have done today. The flower was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored using Stampin’ Blends in Parakeet Party, Bubble Bath, and a touch of Sweet Sorbet.
The die cut leaves are part of the Dainty Delight Dies. The stamps and dies are no longer bundled together. But both available individually. I love the detail and texture on the leaves and the texture it adds to the card. The second set of Dies used are the Deckled Rectangle Dies. I used the smallest die for the sentiment. It gives just enough of a fun edge to the white layer.
Layers
This card was built a little differently than I normally do. It began with the focal layer and sentiment layers before the card base. Because of the Natural Ribbon, I decided to go with Crumb Cake as the card base. The Bubble Bath pairs with the flower petals as well as the Sheer Ribbon. And the little Brushed Brass Butterfly is the finishing touch with it’s delicate bling!

The card I am sharing today is one that I really love! I have always been a big reader. So as soon as I saw this set I knew it had to come home with me. Plus it makes some great cards!
Stamp Sets
The main stamp set is the Birds Eye View set. The books, owl, and glasses are from the set. There are two other owls included, as well as some additional images. Since I love to read I had to go with the books for the first card. And those glasses are just the icing on the cake!! There is another set of glasses and a monocle. I used the large round ones in the same Moody Mauve as the layer.
The simple sentiment is from the Artistically Inked stamp set. I did not want to add more layers. So looked for a simple sentiment. This is a perfect one for any occasion and it fits perfectly there in the corner.
Layers
The card base is Balmy Blue with a layer of Moody Mauve. The focal layer came about from a negative of the new Deckled Circles laying on my desk. (These are a must have an are available once the new Mini goes LIve.) I know you have heard me say things on my desk are the beginning of a card. It is true once again. The negative was the perfect size for the images. For a soft color I chose Bubble Bath. It is a current favorite of mine! And used the Blending Brushes to put a light layer of it down.
Coloring
The images all have a shimmer to them. You may need to look closely to see it in the photo. I colored everything using the ink pads by squeezing them and getting ink onto the lid. This is old school for coloring with the blender pen! But this time I used Wink of Stella as my paint brush. It works the same way as adding water or the blender pen liquid. Just with the addition of getting the shimmer. That is a Win / Win!!!

Today’s card stars some beautiful Designer Paper and a simple Fun Fold. I have paired some products that may not seem to go together. So I hope I am showing you new possibilities.
Fun Fold
This is a simple Z fold that I made for a masculine birthday card. The mix of products is not what you would think to pair at first glance. Here is an inside view.
Papers
The gorgeous DSP is from the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper. It is an Online Exclusive, and is available now, that pairs with a Christmas set. When I saw this scene it made me think of a quiet walk in the woods. I have paired it with colors that were pulled from the paper itself.
The card base is Misty Moonlight that measures 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 and is scored at 2 1/8 and 4 1/4. This makes the Z fold. And the inside card is 7 X 4, folded in half. The layers are Copper Clay, which again comes from the DSP piece. I thought the falling leaves looked like that color and wanted to highlight the leaves.
Stamps and Inks
The stamp set is the Seasonal Branches. This branch has stamps of leaves, flowers, etc that can be paired with it. I chose it to match the falling leaves in the DSP. The leaves are colored with a brighter color than the Copper Clay. The Sweet Sorbet seemed to pop against the other colors without looking too red. And the branch was done in Smoky Slate to match the gray of the trees in the DSP.
Finishes
This card did not really need a lot as I tried to keep it simple. The beautiful DSP is the star of the show so just a touch of bling is all that was needed. I chose the Tinsel 4 Pack and in Lemon Lolly to highlight the glow in the DSP.

Today’s card is another one where the paper has done all of the work. The Fresh As A Daisy paper has such beautiful paintings included. I saw the actual paintings at a Stampin’ Up! Event. The SU artists are so very talented. And it makes for an easy and pretty card for us!
Papers
This pretty flower panel is from the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper. There are two pieces that have a variety of similar panels on a single piece. All you have to do is cut them apart. It could not be any easier! The striped section is a scrap that fit perfectly and added more color.
The card colors were pulled from the floral piece. I chose Garden Green as the card base but added the surprise of Moody Mauve. It is included in the floral and was a debate between it and a pop of Basic White as the thin layer. I also added the sentiment on a strip of the Moody Mauve for a different look.
Sentiment
This card could be part of a gift of cards, or just some to have on hand. So I went with a basic sentiment. “You are the best” works for so many occasions. The little sentiment is part of the Timeless Arrangements stamp set. There are several great sentiments in this set. And I love the size as well.
Finishes
To ground the sentiment I went with a soft layer of ribbons. The base layer is from the Real Red & Burlap Combo Ribbon. And the pink is part of the Sheer Ribbon Combo pack. Of course there must be bling! So there is a scattering of Iridescent Pearls. They not only pop, but add to the white of the flowers.

I am finally back to sharing cards with you! The trip to Norway was fabulous, and since it was a cruise, relaxing as well. But that travel home day was a killer! The time difference plus long flight seemed worse than ever. I have had jet lag for several days. But all is well and I am back with a fun card today. You all know how much I love the Stampin’ Up! critters, well here is a fun one with Hey Chuck!
Stamps
There are two different sets used on this card. The first is the best as it is Hey Chuck. The expressions on the faces in this set are so fun. He is giving the side eye at that birthday cake. I can totally relate because I have a large number birthday coming up myself. LOL!!!
The second stamp is the speckled around the background. I love the added definition that this sort of background gives. This stamp is from the Quiet Meadow stamp set.
Colors and Dies
A chick always has red of some sort. So I went with the Real Red for the layer. The layer is cut using one of the Deckled Rectangle Dies. These are so great and add a bit of texture and different look that is simple to do. A definite win / win!
The coloring of Chuck is something I have not done in a long time. I used Watercolor Pencils. There are some amazing watercolor artists that I have seen cards from lately and thought I would give it a try. Adding the different colors and working up the look I wanted really did not take too long. Sharp pencils and a newer Blender Pen were the key for me. Now that I have done it, I know I want to try it again. I remember when this was all we had for color besides the Stampin’ Write Markers.

Papers
Today’s card is a return to the Kraft Notecards and Envelopes for the card base. This one has the added benefit of the gorgeous DSP from the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper. The sheet used here is a full one that looks like this. You could make quite a few cards from one single sheet.
Stamp and Punch
The sweet sentiment is from the Handmade Hugs stamp set. This set coordinates with the Handmade Tag Punch. The outline image is stamped using Azure Afternoon Ink. And the sentiment is stamped using Berry Burst Ink. Both are included in the stamp set. And I love the shape and size of the Handmade Tag Punch! It fits quite a lot of the larger size sentiments that most punches do not. I do not know if y’all have noticed that none of these notecards have added Bling! I left that off for ease of packing and travel. But it was so hard to not add some bling!!!

Today’s card features mostly the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper and a bit of fancy trim. This is a pretty, yet simple, Thank you card.
Tags
The tags are the best part of this card. It was a toss up between the tags and the DSP. But the tags won! The pretty edge on the top of the tag is from the Elegant Edge Punch. It is a 2″ wide tag with just enough detail for a fancy look. And you could punch each end for a beautiful and fancy layer on your card. I made a second tag of the Misty Moonlight card stock for a shadow look. They are tied together using a length of the Starry Sky Metallic Weave Ribbon. I love the bit of sparkle this gives.
Papers
This card could not get any brighter and that is all due to the papers. The Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper is so pretty. To get the torn look, one of the Stampin’ Up! Artists actually tore paper that had been dry embossed, stamped etc and then photographed it. This bright piece is fabulous. And it matches the tag piece which is also from the paper pack. To tie the layers together I found a complimentary color of Bubble Bath to use as the card base.
Stamps and Bling
To mix the two different DSP pieces, a solid color, and a punch is an easy and beautiful card. And to add a very simple sentiment is about all that is needed to complete it. The sentiment is from the Something Fancy stamp set. I love when I remember to try stamping directly on the DSP. And to complete the card I spread a trio of gems from the Tinsel Gem 3 Pack. I went wild and used one of each color!
