Obviously the designer series paper dictated the color combination of Real Red and Garden Green. This paper is Be Merry Designer Series Paper in the annual catalog. I promise it is a Must Have!! Every sheet is beautiful, front and back.
The designer paper did most of the work for me on this card. I added to it by stamping the ornaments and the sparkle which came from the Carols of Christmas stamp set. The Oh, What Fun came from the stamp set of the same name. And that is that! So super simple and quick to make. This would make an awesome Christmas card to make multiples of.

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s July Blog Hop! It’s Christmas in July, and today’s Blog Hop is filled with projects inspired by … you guessed it … Christmas! What fun! Although Stampin’ Up!’s 2017 Holiday Catalog will be released to demonstrators this week (we can’t wait to share that with you), our Annual Catalog is filled with fun, festive and beautiful ways to make Christmas special. We are excited to share our creations with you today. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
My card for this Christmas In July Blog Hop is made with a set from the Annual Catalog. Actually all of the components are from the Annual catalog. And it is traditional Christmas colors as well.
My color inspiration came from the designer series paper, as usual! When I saw this sheet in the Be Merry Designer Series Paper pack I just knew it would make a beautiful card. And I did not want to cover it up. The sentiment and other design items are all from the set Oh, What Fun. Such a cheery name for a really versatile stamp set.
I stamped the sentiment , which has a berry sprig attached to it, with Memento Tuxedo Black. To keep from having a black berry sprig, I placed reusable tape over the sprig before I inked the stamp. (I almost forgot to remove the tape before I stamped…LOL…so don’t tell anyone!) There is a stamp in the set of a berry sprig as well. I stamped it in old olive on both sides of the sentiment and then colored the berries with a Cherry Cobbler marker. The above and below line is also included in the stamp set.
I made the layers with the Lots of Labels Framelits. To finish off the card I added a loop of the Old Olive Mini Chevron Ribbon. The layers of the sentiment are raised with SU’s wonderful dimensionals. To me this is a traditional Christmas card.

I am so excited about this Christmas set Sneak Peak! The card I made today is using the Carols Of Christmas set. It will be in the upcoming Holiday Catalog. As a Demonstrator I was allowed to preorder it. And it is also part of the Christmas in July Special (see the note at the bottom of the post) for anyone signing up this month to be a demonstrator. Isn’t this such a sweet card? And so quick and easy to do. The most time in making the card was adding the layers. My color inspiration came from the DSP, as usual. This is the Be Merry Designer Series Paper that is in the current catalog. It is a must have for Christmas cards this year. And to deflect from all the Cherry Cobbler, I added Garden Green to contrast.
