Have you seen the cross stamping on a full sheet of paper to make four cards? It is a new technique spreading quickly and I had to give it a try. I will warn you that it can be addicting!
Stamp Sets
I apologize for the poor picture. Trying to make a good photo from my desk did not work very well. But you can see the “big” picture here. The two stamp sets I used to create this are Forever Fern and Leaves of Holly. The Holly leaves and berries are the star. But I wanted the additional leaves and berries that would be mixed in with a wreath to add extra colors and depth.
Colors
Again I apologize for the poor photography. So I will just list the colors. For the holly I used Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent. The berries are Sweet Sorbet and Poppy Parade. And for the two leaves and berry stems from the Forever Fern set I used Garden Green and Smoky Slate. To make the four cards I mixed these colors in the card bases and layers.
Cards
I will say that I cut the full sheet down from 8 1/2 X 11 to four of varying sizes for the cards. They all started out at 4 X 5 1/4, and then either stayed that size or were trimmed a little bit more. Here are two of the cards.
Please give this fun technique a try! It is a great way to add some variety to your stamping.

Here in Georgia the weather has been hinting at Fall but then leaning back towards Summer. Finally it seems to have decided on Fall. To celebrate this cooler weather,, I made a Fall card to share. A pairing of the Leaf Label leaves with the Alphabest Bundle worked wonderfully.
Leaves
These great leaves are the Leaf Label & Amber Gem Combo pack. The gems have been used on a variety of projects, but not today. Today the leaves gave me the idea for a banner. It began with one leaf and the wording, When a couple of them were stuck together, I had the thought of a banner. And here we are! My banner could have used a little more definition on the leaves to separate them more. But I was so excited with the idea that I just went with it. The string is the fun Silver Threaded Twine from the Mini Catalog also.
Stamp and Punch Bundle
The wonderful Alphabest stamp set has probably gotten more use than any of the other alphabet stamps I have owned. The size is perfect and the fact there is a matching punch is just perfect. Punches are a favorite tool of mine and this one is special. It looks like a mini ticket, and is simply a great size. And Punch Bundles are one of the best bang for your buck bundles. To create the banner I simply stamped all of the letters on a strip of Basic White with Crushed Curry Ink. Then I punched away!
Paper
This fun paper is from the Host Rewards Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper. These bright colors are so happy! So I went with more bright colors for the card base and layer. When using colors from the paper, you cannot go wrong. Even if they are colors that you would not usually picture together. If they are together in the print then they work. That is part of the appeal of Stampin’ Up!s Designer Series paper!
Finishes
With the fun paper and banner, it did not require but a little bling to finish off this card. By using the 2021-2023 Opal Rounds, I had a couple of colors that matched the paper. With a generous spreading of gems, the card was complete.

Random Act of Kindness treats are the ones I love to make. And when you find something a little different it makes giving even more fun. The difficulty is trying to figure out a decorative package. That was definitely an issue with today’s treat project!
The Treat Topper
As I said in the beginning, sometimes how to decorate a gift can be the most difficult part. As you can see from the photo, these are chocolate covered pretzel rods. They are about 8″ long. Luckily they are already individually sealed, so that was not a worry. Finally I saw a treat bag top Brian King had made and decided a simple topper was the way to go.
Layers
The highlight of the topper is the Witch Hat Punch. And it is so sad that it sold out. Hopefully you were one of the ones who purchased it, as a LOT of people did! The hat from the Bewitching stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black on Orchid Oasis cardstock. After punching the hat, a hat band was also punched using a piece of the Orchid Oasis from the 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer Paper. It received a Black Matte Dot to complete the hat portion of the topper.
The base of the topper is simply Basic Black cardstock punched with the Lasting Label Punch. It was folded in half lengthwise and stapled to the top of the bag. Using my faithful Double Oval Punch for the sentiment was a great and quick solution to the sentiment. The sentiment is from the Scary Cute stamp set and is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black. I used a glue dot to adhere it to the back of the hat brim prior to adhering the hat to the black base. The hat covers the staple on the front so you see a cute tag with no staples showing from the front.
Happy Halloween to all of you….
I hope this gives you an idea for personalizing, and decorating, a quick treat. Hope your Halloween is fun!

Today’s card is a pretty Winter scene that could be used for any occasion. Sometimes I forget about a simple seasonal card.
Paper
This paper is really the star of the card in my opinion. It is from the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series paper. And it is a sweet Winter scene with a mix of blues and browns. For the card base I went with Early Espresso to highlight the tree bases. But the sentiment layer is framed with Night of Navy for some contrast.
Stamp Sets
To compliment the paper, I found the little animals in the Peaceful Deer stamp set. It is in the Annual Catalog and carried over from last year’s Mini. These cute little guys seemed right at home with this scene in the paper. Both of them were stamped with Early Espresso and colored with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. And for this perfect sentiment I went to the Beauty of Friendship stamp set. It also is in the Annual Catalog.
Fold
This is the triple bar card that I have shared a couple of times before. Today’s version may be my favorite because of the paper and how it looks like a solid piece instead of the strips when closed. Here is a partially open view where you can see how it slides apart.
And here is a previous versions. This fold was cased from Connie Stewart. Here is the link.

The Santa’s Delivery stamp set is so stinking cute! Old fashioned Santa’s are my favorite. And especially paired with a simple HoHoHo
Stamp Set
This adorable Santa in the train engine is so cute! I love old fashioned Santa’s and this reminds me of that. There are more images to the stamp set and additional train pieces. But this simple one worked perfectly for my idea. The image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored with Stampin’ Blends. All of the colors are in the Supply List at the bottom of the post. To add the “smoke” coming out of the smoke stack, I used a trio of the Classic Matte Dots in the Basic Gray. They fit perfectly with the room I had left at the top of the stamped image.
Paper
This beautiful DSP was as much a part of my idea as Santa was. This sweet HoHoHo sheet is from the matching Santa Express Designer Series Paper. It is part of the Santa Suite of products. But this adorable piece caught my eye immediately. The colors are both traditional and modern, but the words are just perfect!
To use the non traditional colors was my choice of the way to lean to begin this card. So the card base is Petal Pink with the layer of Bermuda Bay. Both are from the DSP and fit in great with the more traditional of the train colors I used. Since the paper was the sentiment 🙂 I simply added the Petal Pink Soft Polyester Ribbon as the finishing touch.

Pretty and simple are great combinations anytime. And today’s card highlights both of those using the Peace To You stamp set.
Stamps
There are two stamp sets used on this card. The first is the fabulous Peace To You stamp set. The image of the church is from that set. It is square shaped with more trees showing when looking at the stamp itself. To change it up a little, I used the Decorative Circle Punch to highlight the church and a couple of partial trees. With the shape of the punch the scene is framed very well.
The second stamp set is for the sentiment. Since I have friends all over the country I take this statement literally. And I love that! Even though they are not close by, they are still friends and in my thoughts. This sentiment is from the Leaves of Holly stamp set. To shape the sentiment I went to the partner to Leaves of Holly, the Holly Berry Dies. These are a bundle in the Mini Catalog. This shape is a little larger than totally necessary for the words. However the extra bit of white sort of mimics all the white of the card against the blue strip.
Definition and Finishes
To give the background of white some definition, I used the Whimsical Woodland Embossing Folder. It may be a little more whimsical than the focal image, but the tone on tone of it keeps it more subdued. By using only two colors on the card everything seems to work well together.
The Starry Sky Ink for the focal image is a brighter “night” than Night of Navy ink would be. And by using it as the card base and the strip to ground the sentiment, it gives a brighter look to the card. To add a touch of bling, I simply added two of the Rhinestones to the sentiment. This is a great card for multiples, and may just be in my Christmas cards for this season.
