The card I have made today is using another Bundle that it took me a few flips through the catalog to finally take a good look at. Once I did, I saw the potential and now am loving the variety of looks it can give. It is the Floral Dies from the All Squared Away Bundle.
Layout
I have been working on making cards with more “White” space. I tend to use DSP and layers which do not leave very much White. With that in mind, I decided to use just one of the Squares from the Dies. I die cut the square in Soft Succulent to go with the softness of the Pale Papaya cardstock. Beneath the flower inside the square is a flower that is Soft Succulent as part of the die. For the flowers, I die cut three in the Pale Papaya and layered one in the square and the others as decoration.
The background of the square is Balmy Blue. I felt that was the appropriate color to back the flower. To ground the square, I added a ribbon in the Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon. It is a dream to work with and is so soft looking.
Finishing Touches
To finish the card I added some of the Genial Gems to the center of each flower. The sentiment is from the Many Messages Bundle and is added using Stampin’ Dimensionas.
I hope you have given the Many Messages Bundle a serious look. It is a Carryover from the Mini Catalog, and now there are two stamp sets that match the Dies. The new stamp is is Many Happenings. I have them stamped and die cut in both Black and Misty Moonlight. They are in a little bag just waiting for a card.

I have one of the easiest cards I have ever made to share with you today. That being said, it is also gorgeous. And I owe it all to the wonderful Expressions In Ink Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! I hope you think it is as beautiful as I do.
Gorgeous Designer Series Paper
Do you agree on the paper? This sheet of the Expressions In Ink DSP is one with an alcohol and ink creation on the back and a strip across the center like this piece on the front. I cut it so that the majority of the beauty shows. I think the paper is simply a WOW!!
The card base and matting were chosen from the colors in the DSP. The base is Shaded Spruce with Soft Sea Foam as the mat. I wanted a sentiment that was short, but went with the paper. In the stamp set Life Is Beautiful, I found the perfect one.
***OOPS!!! I messed up with the sentiment. As I type this and look for the stamp set, I realize it is retired! Somehow it ended up back on the shelf with current products! I am only 6 months out of date with this set! I apologize!!! However, I believe it shows how a great sentiment is all you need to pair with this beautiful DSP.
For the finishing touch on the card I added one last thing. I used the Simply Elegant Trim, which comes in gold and silver in one package. I chose the gold trim to match the gold veins in the paper. A simple finger bow with a glue dot and it is a finished card.

One of the Mini Catalog Suites of products that I will truly miss is the Snail Mail. There is just something about those adorable little snails that make me smile. Today I have a Snail Mail Birthday card to share.
It’s All About the DSP
You know how much I love the Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper. It is generally the base all my cards are built on. Today it is even the focal point of the card. I not only used the strip of a sheet from the pack on the left side, but the snail is die cut from the DSP as well.
One of the great things Stampin’ Up! does is that they make the DSP so that you can use the matching dies to cut out a pre-colored image. What a way to save time! I used this little trick for the Snail. There is no way I could make the colors so perfect! The little heart attached to the shell is from the dies at well. That little bit of extra adds quite a bit of Cute to the card.
Layers
After die cutting the snail and adding the heart, I couldn’t decide how to add it to the card. I wanted a little different layer. Going through my dies, I ran across the Painted Labels Dies. They are another set that offer such a variety for layering! I chose to make the layer in White to blend the white around the die cut snail.
I went one step further with the layer and did something I usually forget to do. Quite a lot of the dies have an embellishment die in the mix. I rarely use these simply because I do not think of it. Today it sort of jumped out at me. So I cut the little lace look in Real Red to match the heart from the Snail’s shell. I love the added little bit of color and fancy it gives to a fun card.
Finishing Touches
The sentiment is from the Oval Occasions stamp set. It fit perfectly on the little envelope die from the Snail Mail Bundle. Everything is glued directly down with the exception of the snail. It is adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals. And of course, there is a little bling in the form of a Rhinestone next to the sentiment.
Generally for birthday cards I will stamp an image from the set I use on the envelope for mailing. Just to let the person know there is something fun inside. For today’s card I stamped the Happy Mail stamp and used the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch to cut it. So that it stands out just a little bit, I went around the edges of the postage edge with the Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend. That way it doesn’t blend in totally with the White envelope.

Before we get to today’s card, I have a question for you. Have you checked out the prices on the January – June Mini Catalog Sale list? They are awesome!! I have a link further down in the post for you to click on. That will take you to a 4 page PDF of the sale items. A reminder that it may in some cases be cheaper to buy the die and stamp set individually rather than as a bundle. Some of the dies are discounted 50% on their own, but the bundle price is still the catalog price. So double check before you choose!
Today’s card is one of the retiring items. It is the Wrapped Bouquet Bundle. I love this Bundle. It is one I have used several times. And with many different colors. Today’s colors are more subdued, but with a bit of sparkle.
Colors
I chose to pair one of my favorites, Highland Heather, with the Basic Gray. I chose the gray because of the newsprint the flowers are wrapped in. The DSP is the Naturals Designer Series paper and it is one of the Basic Gray designs. There are a couple of different designs in each color. You can also get a pack in each of the color families, as well as the In Color families.
The flower image is stamped using Smoky Slate. I then colored the images, with the exception of the newsprint, with Stampin’ Blends. Highland Heather for the flowers and Mossy Meadow for the stems and leaves. The flowers also each got a touch of Wink of Stella to give them some sparkle. Instead of trying to add color to the centers of the flowers with Stampin’ Blends, I chose to go with some Bling. I used the Champagne Rhinestones, which have a bit of a gold / yellow tint.
Finishing Touches
Did you notice the sparkle of the ribbon? This is the new Highland Heather Grosgrain Ribbon. It looks as if it has some silver mixed in. Whatever the case is, I love it! It seems to add some elegance to the focal layer.
The sentiment is from the stamp set also. The “Love You Bunches” just seems like a southern saying to me. I die cut it using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. And added some Stampin’ Dimensionals to give it some depth. I forgot to mention that the Basic Gray layer is also cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

I hope you had a good Holiday. I relaxed at home but was able to hear parts of the parade from my driveway as well as see the flyover.
Yesterday I shared the Picture This Dies in a cute card. You can see that by choosing Gallery in the Menu Bar. Today’s card is using the circles that were die cut out of the frame from yesterday. I love that they also have the stitching on the inside edges.
Today’s card is using the Basic White Notecards and Envelopes. I believe these circles would work just as well on a full size card. The choice was more that I needed some notecards to send out.
Designer Series Paper
The gorgeous DSP sheets that are paired with the Picture This circles are from the Sweet Symmetry DSP. They are great colors with a touch of a “country” look in the floral sides. The other side of each sheet is more tone on tone colors.
I used three different sheets from the DSP pack. They all coordinate well and each have the Soft Succulent color. I chose the Flirty Flamingo for the heart. That Die is from the Snail Dies. It is the perfect size for the small circle.
Finishing Touches
The For You sentiment is from the Wrapped Bouquet stamp set. I love this type sentiment as it works for pretty much any reason. I will admit to using a retired 3/4″ Circle Punch for the sentiment. I held on to this one as it is great for the finger slot on boxes and small sentiments. Even though it is retired, this is one that can be found at most craft stores. The other circles are the Layering Circles dies.
For the finishing touch I used the Holiday Rhinestones. I chose three different colors that matched the DSP. It is a tad bit unusual, but I liked it.
