This month, the theme is Cute Critters. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I am not sure that my crane is actually a cute critter. However, I see them at the park where I walk and have to stop and admire their grace and beauty.
Stamps
This is such a simple card that I actually only used one stamp from the Crane of Fortune stamp set on the front of the card. To allow the Crane to shine the one stamp, the paper, and the embellishments are all that I used here. The crane was stamped using Gray Granite Ink. Where I walk there are a couple of ponds and there are a couple of cranes as well. One is white and one is a very light gray. At least those are the colors I see. There could be multiples of each one. Enjoying their beauty enhances the walk.
Paper
The gorgeous DSP used is from the Symbol of Fortune Designer Series Paper. One side of the paper has gold foil highlights and the other side is beautiful pieces like the one I chose to highlight. This piece reminds me of elegant wallpaper. The Stampin’ Up! artists are amazing! Additionally, all of the colors were pulled from the piece of DSP. They are Crumb Cake, Soft Succulent, and Calypso Coral.
Embellishments
In deciding on final highlights for the crane, I looked through a variety of embellishments. The one that continued to jump up was the Brushed Brass Butterflies. And there are butterflies in the DSP. For the final touch I used the Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon. This is a beautiful and easy to work with ribbon.
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on April 13th. Our theme will be Fabulous Flowers when our Design Team creates a project using any of the many beautiful flowers in our catalogs.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed today’s project and will come back. I do read and reply to all of the comments individually. They mean a lot to me. Please reach out if you have a question.
All of my daffodils are in bloom , and for me, that means Spring is around the corner. Today’s card is bit of a fun fold with a daffodil for the beauty.
Stamps
The gorgeous daffodil highlighting the front of this Fun Fold is from the Daffodil Daydreams Bundle. There are dies that make layered daffodils, which are outstanding. But I wanted just a single and more simple one for this card. The single flower is stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored with Stampin’ Blends. As an accent, the butterfly was stamped and colored as well.
After die cutting the flower and butterfly, they are added with Stampin’ Dimensionals for depth. And of course they required a bit of bling. So each received a single Rhinestone. To finish off the flower, I tied a bow using the Cotton Ribbon Combo of the Blushing Bride. This is a great width of ribbon and being cotton it is very easy to work with!
Paper
I apologize for using a retired DSP here. The card was made at the end of Sale-A-Bration and then didn’t get posted. It is the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper. However, there are so many gorgeous papers from Stampin’ Up!, that I am sure several would work just as well.
Measurements
This is a fun fold that I have seen a few times. The flap can be placed anywhere on the front of the card for different looks. I placed it towards the left side this time.
Daffodil Delight is cut to 4 1/4 X 5 1/2
DSP is cut to 4 X 5 1/4
The flap is Daffodil Delight cut to 2 1/4 X 10 1/2, scored at 5 1/4
The flap DSP is cut to 2 X 5
The inside White is cut to 2 X 5
Fold and burnish the Daffodil strip of cardstock and adhere to the base layer, placing in your choice of locations. Adhere it with an equal border at the top and bottom. Layer the large DSP over top of the bottom layer of the flap. Then adhere the strip of DSP to the front of the flap. Decorate with the flower and butterfly. Stamp the greeting on the White layer and adhere to the inside. Be careful that it is in alignment with the top of the fold so it is not seen when the flap is closed.

I have another quick and easy card to share today. This one uses the Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper like i did a few weeks ago with the ice cream cone. Fun and easy.
Paper
A fairly common theme for me is to have the DSP as the star of the card. This one is that way. The unusual size of 4 X 6 in the Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper is not a negative in my opinion. It is the perfect layer for a card with just a bit of extra. In the case of this card, I got two cards from one piece of the paper.
It was a hard decision of what color or colors to pull from the DSP. Blushing Bride one chosen as the card base for a softer look. You know how much I use Smoky Slate, so of course it had to be a layer. The DSP is cut to 3 7/8 X 5 1/8 and then angle cut. As I said above, you get two pieces from one. All you have to do is layer the DSP onto a 3 7/8 X 5 1/8 piece of Basic White, and do a bit of stamping. Although I don’t adhere the DSP until after I have finished stamping. It is more of a placement for the stamps, but I don’t want to accidentally stamp on it!
Stamps
All of the stamps are from the fun and very different stamp set titled Lucky You. The sentiments are all like the one I used in that they are a reverse. Going with Black ink was a chance I took because of the background. It was chosen as a color that would stand out, And it was not included as much as some of the others in the DSP. All of the additional stampings are from the stamp set and are colors pulled from the paper. Even the overlapping of the stamped images was to copy the paper.
I hope you will give this stamp set another look. It was not a first choice for me. But I love it, especially paired with the Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper.

Today’s project is showcasing the sneak peek Stampin’ Up! is giving us of a new set for the next Annual Catalog. It is the Here Together stamp set. You can see it towards the bottom of my post where I show all of the current promotions. The set is a wonderful mix of images and sentiments. I focused more on the sentiment for today.
“Every Act of Kindness Changes The World” makes you realize that you can do very small things to make a difference. This is my new goal.
Stamps
As said above, the stamp set is the Here Together set. It is part of the promotion of the All Together Suite of products. Even though this card only includes the stamp set, there is matching paper as well as a new group of Stampin’ Blends. To showcase the stamp set, I went with the hands shaping a heart. To match the gesture I chose the kindness changes sentiment. Being Kind is such an easy thing to accomplish. And making cards is the very best and most fun way to share kindness!!!
Adding a touch of pink to the stamping was easy. I wanted a heart, but ended up with three of them. Utilizing the set that is full of hearts, The Sweet Conversations stamp set, there was the cute little hearts to complete my theme.
Paper, etc.
Additionally, this card is fairly simple and has no designer series paper. Such a shock! Instead of black and white with a touch of color, it is white and white with a touch of color. I wanted this to be a simple card, so went with the less is more theory. To color the hands I used Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. And the touches of pink are Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Jewels, along with a layer of Polished Pink Cardstock.
Please do not forget to check the current promotions. The All Together is the third one listed. By clicking on the photos you can see a pdf of each promotion.

Today’s card is a mixture of fun products. The Flowing Flowers pairing with the Heart & Home DSP and Doilies are the stars.
Colors
The mix of colors for this card are a bit unusual. They are all pulled from the DSP but look a bit different in bolder size like the Basic Gray for the card base and Garden Green as the layer. And then the gray Doily from the Heart & Home Suite! Of course I could not leave out the gorgeous Fresh Freesia, so it was added as the flower color and the sentiment strip.
Stamp , etc.
The flower stamp is from the Flowing Flowers stamp set. This set is versatile in that the flowers are mostly outlines, with a touch of detail. They can be stamped on a color, on white in a color, or lightly colored with blends. Regardless of how they are shown, they are wonderful. As a plus for the stamp set, there are a couple of great sentiments with the different type of fonts that I love.
The paper and the doilies are from the same Suite of products. They are part of the Heart & Home Designer Suite. The Heart & Home Designer Series Paper is so pretty and has a large variety of colors in the different sheets. As I said earlier, this color combination is unexpected, but a nice surprise! And of the course the Heart & Home Doilies are a favorite. They come in a pack with three colors. Misty Moonlight, Basic Gray, and Cinnamon Cider are a great combo and go with all of the different papers in the pack. Additionally the back side of all of them is white. So you have a white doily, or one that can be colored. A win / win!!

Today’s card is a mix of Food and Drink stamps for the Make My Monday Challenge. I love the mix of food, drink, and Die cut words.
This card is for the Make My Monday Challenge blog. This is such a fun challenge. It is Food and Drink. What a fun, and wide open, challenge. Please check out the blog and join the challenge. You can click on the badge to see the other designers’ ideas and add your card as well.
Stamps
I used a couple of different food and drink stamp sets. The bowl is a two-step one from the Measure of Love stamp set. And the chocolates are a two-step stamp from Nothing Better Than set. It is stamped once inside the bowl and again on separate scrap paper. The extra one is fussy cut to spread the love around. Finally the drink is also from the Nothing Better Than set and is also a two-step stamp. The inside for the liquid can be done in any color to create your favorite drink!
Dies
My favorite of the card are the die cut words! They are from the Love You More Dies and match the Nothing Better Than stamps. These words really define the card! And the little “star” is ,to replace the “&” sign. Surprisingly, that little star really pops.
Paper
This gorgeous polka dot paper is from the Sale-A-Bration Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper. This fun paper will be missed. And today is the last day that you can get it. All you need is a $50.00 product order to choose it as your FREE SAB item.
The other paper colors are pulled from the DSP. They are Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay. Actually neither of these are in the listed colors, but as most Stampin’ Up! paper colors coordinate beautifully, these work perfectly.
Sale-A-Bration is the Best Time of Year!!
