Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because this month’s theme is “Art from the Heart” and we think you’re going to love it! You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
My card is definitely from the heart. It is covered in hearts and is perfect for anyone you love. But it does not have to be for Valentine’s Day. This one would be appreciated at any time. Besides the hearts, I have an unexpected choice to pair with them.
I have made a Waterfall Card to share my From the Heart theme. I had not made one of these in years. The ones I have made previously were single layer with the waterfall on the front and you added your wording to the bottom of the waterfall. This one is a bit different in that I placed the waterfall on a full size card. So you have the inside to add extra sentiment and your love.
Here are some of the pulls to show the different images.
I hope this gives you a different perspective of the Over The Moon set ! I think these guys and gals are just adorable and a fit for many occasions..
I am going to do a quick video on how I made this, but I am sure there are several on YouTube already. I will say that the most important aspect of the building of your layers, is to not glue down the cross bar. That has to be secured with brads or in a way that only the edges of the strip are attached. Otherwise your waterfall cannot pull through.
I have listed all of the supplies i used at the bottom of the post. Don’t forget to take a look.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, March 11th, for our “Critter Card” blog hop when our Design Team showcase projects with animals, birds, butterflies or insects. Don’t miss the fun!

I hope you enjoyed the 3 X 3 Box in yesterday’s post. Today I am sharing the cards I made to go inside of it. I hope the recipient will love them as much as I do!
I stayed with the Magnolia theme of course. I added different elements and punches to vary the look and sentiments. I have four cards shown, but the box will hold 8 – 10 cards and envelopes. It depends on the embellishments (AKA dimensionals sticking out!)
I used the same Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper pack. I wanted to stay with the look of the box, so I have the same paper from the box, the opposite side of that paper, and an additional sheet ( the dark background flower). The sentiments are all from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp set.
I paired the sentiments with a variety of punches. The top left is the Story Label Punch. The top right is the Layering Circles, as I used on the front of the box. The bottom left is the New Label Me Fancy punch paired with the Timeless Label Punch. And the bottom right is the Layering Circles again.
The bottom left card also has an added item. I used the gorgeous Petal Pink Metallic Ribbon in a loop behind the sentiment. This gorgeous ribbon is in the Mini Catalog.
Thank you for stopping in again today. I appreciate it very much and love hearing your thoughts on the cards. I hope you can picture these same cards in a full size as well as the 3 X 3. Please come back tomorrow for the Pals Blog Hop! There will be a lot of great ideas with the theme From The Heart!

For today’s project I am channeling my friend Julie DiMatteo , The Paper Pixie. I have put my spin on her adorable 3 X 3 card box.
For my box, I used the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and matching Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper. Since Julie used dinosaurs for her box, it should look totally different ! LOL!!
And here it is with the lid off.
This is the link to Julie’s video on how to make the box. Click HERE. It is a super video, as always, and extremely easy to make.
My version of the box is made with the Magnolia Suite as I mentioned in the beginning. I paired it with colors from the DSP. I used Mossy Meadow as the box base. My circle layers are from the Layering Circles Dies. I used the same ones that Julie did in her video I believe.
The Magnolia Lane DSP has quite a bit of white to pair with the Mossy Meadow. It also has a hint of the Petal Pink. I stayed with those colors for the layers. I like the scalloped circle for the center, and the white shows up very well against the pink. I stamped the flower with the Petal Pink and then the sentiment over top with Mossy Meadow. The finishing touch was the Champagne Rhinestone, from the Mini Catalog, as the “O” in Today.
I will share with you tomorrow the matching cards I made for the inside. I stuck with the Magnolia theme. I have listed all of the products I used in the Supply List at the bottom of the page. Thank you for stopping in today. I hope you will come back to see the inside cards tomorrow.

I am not quite over Valentine’s Day cards, even though I have shared quite a few. I have another one for you today. This one with a change of colors would work for many other occasions.
I think this little racoon is adorable. And that is saying a lot since we had a family decide to check out our garage and the cat food!!
I have mixed several products for this card, but only one stamp set. It is the Special Someone and it so darn cute. I stamped the racoon base in Gray Granite (probably would have looked better in Smoky Slate) then the second layer stamped in Soft Suede. The balloon is stamped with Flirty Flamingo for the first stamp and Real Red for the top stamp.
The layers are all from the Rectangle Stitched Dies. I felt it needed something else, so added the one red heart. It is the heart out of the Dog Builder Punch. I angled the sentiment more for a space reason than layout. Although I like it raised above the other plus it shows off the DSP. The paper is the From My Heart Designer Series Paper.
Thank you for checking in today. All of the supplies I used are at the bottom of the page. Please return next week for more new projects. And don’t forget about Sale-A-Bration deals as well as the AWESOME JOIN PROMOTION. You can read about the join promotion in the next paragraph.

I created today’s card to play along with the Global Design Project sketch chalenge. It is GDP226. I am being a bit different and going to show you the sketch first. The sketches do not have to be followed exactly. What I did is another older technique that as usual I had not used in many years.
And here is my version of the sketch challenge.
To say my card is different is that I took a solid stamped layer and cut it into equal parts. The design team for this challenge mostly used individual stampings on each of the layers. The method I chose is one that was used quite often back when I first started stamping.
This stamp set is perfect for masculine cards, or anyone who loves to fish. There are more women than you probably think that are avid fishermen (fisherperson!) It is the new By The Dock stamp set. I stamped the pieces in different colors that matched that item. I then used Stampin’ Blends to color them appropriately.
The ribbon and sentiment are ones I was thrilled with the results. The ribbon is the Braided Linen Trim. I did not tie a bow or a regular little knot. I looped it around, except upside down, like you would for a tag or bookmark. I wanted the tails down and it took me a minute to figure out how to do it upside down! LOL!!
The sentiment is from the By the Dock stamp set. I stamped it onto Sahara Sand card stock and then die cut it using a die from the Painted Labels Dies. I truly hope this die set carries over after the Mini Catalog. They are perfect for sentiments.
Thank you for stopping in today! I hope you will return tomorrow for another idea before the weekend.
