My card today is with a bundle I have had and been a bit intimidated by. I received a card using it in the swap I mentioned earlier in the week that I shared my Tinsel In A Tangle card. The card I received was from fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Jackie Roberts. So I decided to CASE her card. Oh My !!
This die is the Many Layers Blossoms and bundles with the Blossoms In Bloom stamp set. (I only used the dies today.) I love the look of this card and the layers of the flowers! But those little pieces got called lots of not nice names! It was my own fault for not running it through the cutter a couple of times. I normally do not need to run through more than once. Especially with the New AWESOME Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine. But…..I used the adhesive sheet so I would not make a mess with glue on that delicate top piece. Little tiny pieces of die cut and the adhesive sheets like to hang on to each other!!!!! Don’t get me wrong, I love and use both of the products regularly!!! Even with the time it took on those tiny pieces, I am thrilled with the card!! And I would do it again.
The colors I chose for my monochromatic card are Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, and Purple Posy. I love the different shades and they are perfect together. I didn’t want to add a new color into the mix and that caused me some thought for the sentiment. I ended up going with Purple Posy card stock embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. It turned out very “Soft”. I could have used one of the darker card stocks and the embossing would have been a bit darker.
For the finishing touches I added pearls to the center of the larger flowers. I also added one to the sentiment. The sentiment is from the Here”s A Card stamp set. I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut it with.
Thank you for stopping by. Please let me know your thoughts on the card and the dies. I hope you will come back on Monday for another new project!

I love coloring of any kind. So today I have sponging color to share. It takes longer, and for me doesn’t always end up what I intended. I still enjoy doing it.
This stamp is from the Everything Essential stamp set. (It comes also as a bundle with a tag punch.) The stamp set contains stamps for the next few holidays. And they are all “tag size” , and super cute!! It’s a great versatile set. I already had this die cut piece on my desk, so opted to use it. The die cut layer is from Painted Labels.
I used sponges to color the tag with Crushed Curry and Smoky Slate Inks. I used the Crushed Curry for that eerie glow of the moon look. The image is stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink.
The DSP is from the Magic In This Night Designer Series paper. I really dislike spiders!!!! But I loved the piece of paper. 🙂 It is layered over Smoky Slate card stock and then Blackberry Bliss card stock as the base.
The perfect finishing touch for this little 4X4 card is the ribbon. It is the Metallic Mesh Ribbon. It is gorgeous!! It is about 2″ wide but extremely easy to work with. It is very soft, so it gathers very well. And it makes beautiful bows!
We will have to wait and see what form Halloween and Trick or Treating takes in this crazy year we have going on. In the meantime, Thank You for stopping by today. I very much appreciate it. All of the supplies I used are at the bottom of the post below the month’s Host Code

As I have said previously, the Peony is my favorite flower. That said, I have another card using the Prized Peony stamp set and the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper. Both of these are just simple and pretty.
The flower is stamped using Smoky Slate Ink and colored with the Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend. I just went over the darker areas of the flower and left the rest white. The center is colored using the Dark So Saffron Stampin’ Blend.
The dark layer of the card is Basic Gray card stock. This is one color that I do not use very often. I just forget about it and it is a great neutral. It pairs beautifully with the Petal Pink card stock. The DSP on the lever and behind the flower are also shades of gray, so it blends there as well.
Thank you for stopping by today! I really appreciate it and hope you will return tomorrow. There are quite a few layers and pieces to this card, and although it is quite simple to put together, it does take a bit of time to cut the pieces. I am working on a video and will have that for you soon.

Today’s card is one I made for a swap with some of my Stampin’ Up! fellow demonstrators. We couldn’t do a weekend together due to covid, so did a swap to at least have a bit of sharing.
The stamp set is the Don’t Stop Believin’ set. I adore all of the stamps in this set. It also has the large Santa stamp that I have used previously. I think we all can relate to the tangled lights and tinsel!!
For the background I wanted to use the Tis The Season Designer Series Paper. It went best with the colors I invisioned for the elf. The downside is that it is 6X6 paper. I love 6X6 paper, but it limits your usage when doing multiples. To solve this problem, I cut strips from some of the ones I felt best went together and layered them on some Whisper White. Then all I had to do was flip it over and cut off the excess. I love this technique of paper piecing. It’s by far the easiest one for me.
I stamped the elf with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored him with a variety of Stampin’ Blends. The sentiment is stamped in the Memento Ink as well. I just realized that I took this photo before I decided it needed a bit more bling! To achieve that bit of bling, I added a green from the Holiday Rhinestones just to the left of the sentiment. I only added the one and it was perfect.
Thank you for stopping by today. I greatly appreciate you checking my cards and I love to read your comments. I found on Friday that anyone reaching out to me from my blog using the Contact Me button, was going to spam! If you were one of those people, I am SO SORRY!!!! It is fixed now, and hopefully will never be repeated!

I am sure you were thinking “what in the world” to my title for today! I had the Pampered Pets set out to color an image for a friend to determine the best brown for a dog card. When I went to play today, I decided to use that dog I had colored. My crazy mind went back to our chocolate lab that passed a few years ago. He was always good for craziness!! And the card was born.
The idea behind this layout, is that our dog was allowed to lick the cat plates once they were finished. However, there is always one in a crowd! One of the girls would always sit there acting like she was still eating if he made a move to her plate! Even though she was finished and had cleaned the plate. She just loved to aggravate the dog 🙂 So that is what I see in this kitty by the food bowl. LOL!!!
I truly adore the Playful Pets Suite of products. But the paper is almost the tops. I know I can pair the animals with other paper, but I just adore these patterns. They are just perfect images in my opinion.
You cannot see the sentiment layer as clearly as I had hoped. But it is punched using the Rectangle Postage Punch. The sentiment itself is from the Ghoulish Goodies stamp set. Good To The Last Bite fit the image in my mind perfectly!
The finishing touch is the heart above the sentiment. It is from the Dog Builder Punch. I finished it off with a small Pearl for some bling.
Thank you for stopping by today! I really appreciate it. And I would love to hear from you to see if you agree with my animal humor! I have added the measurements below, and have all of the products listed at the bottom of the page.
Measurements:
base of Basic Black is 4 1/4 X 11, folded in half
Real Red layer is 4 1/8 X 5 3/8

Dog layer is 2 3/8 X 2 1/4 and 2 1/2 X 2 3/8
Cat layer is 2 7/8 X 1 3/8 and 3 X 1 1/2
