I have been using retiring products of late. But today I have carryover and one new product to share. The new is a DSP that I think you will love. And it is perfect for Spring!

STAMPS
This great daisy stem seems to match the DSP perfectly. However they are not from the same Suite. In fact this daisy is a carryover from a couple of catalogs. I for one am happy it is still around. The set is named Lifetime of Love. It is stamped using Basic Gray for a softer outline. Then colored using Daffodil Delight, Mossy Meadow, and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends. The Calypso Coral is the center of the flower.
The fun scripted sentiment is from the Unbounded Love stamp set. It is another carryover. And it is a wonderful sentiment set. There is also a matching Die set, but I did not use that. The Celebrate is stamped using Mossy Meadow to carry on the green theme.
Dies
There are a couple of different Dies used here. First is the matching Die set for Lifetime of Love. It is no longer a bundle, but still a great addition. I debated on die cutting the flowers and having them raised. But opted to leave them just stamped on the layer. But I did die cut those little leaves as an added embellishment. They have fallen off and are peaking around the layers.
The second Die set is the fabulous Nested Essentials. I love this rounded rectangle the most. And there are several of them. These are the two largest of the rectangles. They are a great size for any layout, plus they have the adorable stitching around the edge.
PAPERS
This DSP probably looks new to you. And that is because it is New. It will be one of the May Online Exclusives releases. The name is Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper. I have used a front of one sheet and the back of another sheet. These stripes are special because it is more than just stripes. There is a little detail every so often along the lines.
The cardstock is of course pulled from the DSP. I went with Mossy Meadow for the base and background sentiment layer. Unusually for me I did not add a layer behind the DSP. Actually I did but it is hidden. When I do two pieces of DSP, I like to cut a Basic White piece the same overall size and adhere the DSP pieces to it. That helps them line up and makes adding to the base easy for getting the borders even. Just a tip that I use.
EXTRAS
Today’s Extra is only the bling. It is not a shiny bling though. These are the Faux Glass Dots. The pack has four different colors of earth tone faux glass dots in different sizes. These seemed proper for this card. And they are on the Last Chance List if you like them too.
