Today’s Card
The card I have to share today is a really quick one. One of the punches from the last Mini Catalog that I use regularly carried over to the new Annual Catalog. And as a bonus, it has a new matching stamp set! Woohoo!!
Stamp and Punch
This stamp and punch pair perfectly as they are intended to. But they are not a Bundle. Hopefully you already have the punch from the Mini Catalog. This is the Handmade Tag Punch. Personally, I love the unusual shape of this punch. Getting another matching stamp set is just icing on the cake! I actually punched the stamped image as well as another piece of Flirty Flamingo. That piece is rotated to peek out from behind.
The stamp set is the Handmade Hugs stamp set. It is on page 23 of the catalog. This sentiment is a favorite for me. I believe sending someone a card is like sending a hug. That expression came about during Covid and i am still loving it! The sentiment is stamped using Flirty Flamingo ink and the outline is stamped using Night of Navy Ink. The colors perfectly match the DSP.
Papers
This card came about from the piece of DSP. I was looking through the papers for inspiration and saw this piece. It is a back side of one of the Les Shoppe Designer Series Papers. The brightness of the Night of Navy called to me. Pairing it with Flirty Flamingo might not have been a consideration were they not in this piece of DSP. Now I love the pairing.
Finishes
The finishes on this card are as simple as the card itself. I wrapped a length of the Boho Blue Ribbon around the layers. The loop is an upside down version of the bookmark loop. It was done for a little diffeent look. And the bling is provided by the 2022-2024 In Color Pearls. We can make our own pearls by coloring white ones with Stampin’ Blends. But these are so easy and pretty so no need for that.
