Today I have another sneak peek of the Cheerful Daisies Bundle.  This is a great selection of daisies that also include texture layers.  And that makes them wonderfully easy to make beautiful.

Stamps and Dies

This Cheerful Daisies Bundle was on my list as soon as I saw the catalog.  That interest has only grown now that I have it to play with.  The stamps are solid daisies with detailed images to add over top of for additional detail.  And best of all is that the dies are the same way.  For this card I left them with only the plainer stamped image.  My intention was just to showcase a fun and fairly simple card.

The background of the card base is also included in the stamp set.  This little cluster of daisies is a perfect size for so many uses.  And OH MY!!!  that sentiment got me right away!  It may be an older generation (age) thing, but that “Oopsy Daisy” made me Smile!  I hope it does you as well.

Papers

In addition to the stamp and die bundle being debuted, I am also showcasing some new and returning papers.  The card base is Lost Lagoon.  It has been gone for quite a few years.  The cluster of daisies is stamped with Lost Lagoon Ink for a great tone on tone.   I made the banner using Pretty Peacock card stock.  It has been away for a couple of years and I am thrilled for it’s return.

And the New Color is the pink of the Ink on the white daisies and the card stock of the large daisy.  It is Bubble Bath.  The ink is a softer shade of pink than the card stock.  I really love the shade of pink the card stock is.

Embellishments

To finish this card I added a couple of touches.  The sentiment layer is a die from the Cheerful Daisies Dies.  It is a great shape.  To add a bit of grounding, I added some loops using Linen Thread.  And the final touch of bling is the Pastel Sequins.  They are scattered around the card.
