I love all of the animal stamps that Stampin’ Up! artists create. They all have such fun expressions that are perfect to bring a smile.
That adorable dog has the happiest look on his face. You could even say he is smiling !! I could not resist making a card to show him off. This stamp is from the Glad We’re Friends stamp set in the Annual Catalog. I have used the cat from the set a couple of times, but think this is the first for the dog. Now I feel sad because he is so cute! He is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Stampin’ Blends. All of the Blends are listed in the Supply List at the bottom of the post.
This card was one I made with my Club last week. So I needed multiple sheets of the DSP. To achieve that I went to the Design A Daydream Designer Series Paper. It is one of the extra thick packs of paper that is a Host rewards in the Annual Catalog. These larger packs are perfect for multiples you are making and/ or classes. All of the colors were pulled from the DSP. I debated on the layer behind the dog, but after coloring his tongue with Petal Pink, I knew I needed that as the layer.
To complete the card I used a strip of the Daffodil Delight to cover the joining of the two DSP pieces. It also serves as a grounding for the focal layer. Because I needed some Bling!! I placed the focal layer to the left and added three of the Pastel Pearls on the right side of the strip.
