Today’s card is another of the fun Delicate Desert products. This card uses the dies and gorgeous paper. And it is paired with the really fun Taco Fiesta Stamp set.
Dies
For me the star of this card is the Desert Details Dies. I really love that frame! It has little details around the edge that are unexpected and so pretty. Then it is paired with the smaller Indian looking design on the left. Again, the details there are awesome! I like the stamp set, but I would get these dies even if I did not!
Stamps
These fun stamps are from the Taco Fiesta stamp set. They are another new and unique set in the Mini Catalog that immediately got my attention. And I have used them a few other times. I could not resist that sentiment, but the other pieces are great and you know how much I love to color! There are not dies that match this set. However, the pieces are all pretty small and are easy to fussy cut.
Paper
This patterned paper is from the Delicate Desert Designer Series paper. So of course it pairs perfectly with the Desert Details Dies. I think it is also a great match for the other images as well. My color choices were inspired by the DSP piece of course. Cajun Craze is not one I use very often. But it is perfect here. And to soften just a bit I used Soft Succulent for the base. You can see a little more of the base with that large die than you normally would with my layers. The Soft Succulent pairs well with the guacamole and avocado.
Finishes
It was a debate as to how to showcase the sentiment on this card. One thought was another of the Die piece. But it didn’t really fit well. So back to one of my go to punches. The Double Oval Punch was the answer. And the finishing touch is a couple of the Champagne Rhinestones.
