Hello Fern

The Forever Fern stamp set and the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper are fabulous. I was not going to order the “leaves” set. LOL!!! The first time I saw it stamped, I fell in love. And it is even prettier in person. I did a little bit of a fun fold to go with the card today.

I used two different sheets of the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper for this card. I love the Pretty Peacock added in with the softer colors.

The fun fold is the front right edge. I folded back 1″ from the edge. The ribbon is from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Pack. I love mixing a gingham with floral. The ribbon is secured on the back of the 1″ piece and then that piece is secured to the card. I like the idea of showing the strip of DSP on the right side of the inside of the card. And here is a view of the inside.

I did not add an inside sentiment since the front says Hello. I did add that adorable berry to the inside. The detail is beautiful.

Measurements and Directions:

base card is 5 1/2 X 8 1/2, scored along the 8 1/2 side at 1″ and 4 1/2″. Fold and burnish both scores.
fold back onto the front piece the 1″ scored piece.
the DSP is cut to 5 1/4 X 2 for the front, and 5 1/4 X 3/4 for the inside edge.
the Pretty Peacock layer is 2 3/8 X 4 1/8
the Whisper White layer is 2 1/4 X 4
the inside Whisper White layer is 5 1/4 X 3
