I had previously written that I would not be posting while in Orlando for Stampin’ Up!’s 30th Anniversary / Birthday, but I could not resist. I am sharing a treat holder that I made as a swap or give away, whichever it works out as!
The project actually came from Fellow Demonstrator Dawn Griffith. She designed it to hold a chapstick. I love that idea for a small gift, but I saw it and immediately thought a candy treat. To my pleasant surprise it perfectly holds one of the Merci Chocolates. Woohoo!!! So that is what is inside my little container.
Here is the link to Dawn’s blog post for directions. Click HERE.
I used the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper for my version. I wish this paper would be around forever!! It is so perfect for 3D projects, as well as cards. But most of all it is just beautiful.
The cute little “Enjoy” is from the Tabs For Everything stamp set. This is a much overlooked set that has cute little one word sentiments. It is on page 49 in the Annual Catalog. Please give this set a second look.
I topped it off with the Julie DiMatteo / Vera Bradley bow. It gives the little treat a more refined and finished look.
I also purchased some fundraiser candy bars from a friend’s son. They are about twice the size of the Merci Chocolates. I was so proud of myself in being able to figure out the measurements to make a larger size. These will be given to my fellow Team Members. I hope everyone is ready for chocolate overload! Here is the larger version. I used Takeout Treats stamp set for the same “enjoy” theme. This one is using the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper. It is another thicker, and beautiful, paper.
Thank you for checking back with me. Tomorrow I will be sharing the swap card I made for an event my upline Brian King is hosting tonight.
The supply list at the bottom of the page includes the products used for the small and larger versions of the Treat Holder.
