I am back, and hopefully it is on a regular basis of a 4-5 day a week posts. Life has happened once again. However, all is well for now and I need to be stamping and sharing my love of stamping with you.

Today I have a simple and pretty card to share. It is from the gorgeous Nature’s Symphony Bundle and Nature Walk Designer Series Paper. And I checked, they are still available!! So much is on the Last Chance list, but these are not.

Bundle

It really is difficult to choose which is the star of this card. They are fairly equal in my opinion. But I decided to go with the Nature’s Symphony Bundle first. That leaf image from the Die set is the star of the show. The detail in the leaves impresses me every time I use it.

Then who could not appreciate this sweet sentiment! It is good for almost any occasion. Even if that occasion is just to let someone know you are thinking of them. An unexpected Smile card in the mail would make my day!

Papers

The second star of the card is the Nature Walk Designer Series Paper. These strips are from two different sheets. I have used both sides of one sheet, and then one side of the second. Each strip measures 3 1/2 X 3/4. I have enough of scrap DSP to make a lot of this card layout! How about you?

To go along with the DSP, I paired it with Lost Lagoon cardstock for the base. Then pulled other colors for the Die cut images. The little leaf is Pretty Peacock. And the large leaf is Pool Party. I wanted the large leaf to really pop and Pool Party did the trick.

Extras

The sentiment was stamped using Pretty Peacock Ink. This allowed it to not fade away next to the darker shades of color from the DSP strips.

To add a bit of extra texture, I made a double bow from Linen Thread. It compliments and stands out at the same time. And it is so easy to work with!

The single Bling is from the Moody Palette Glossy Dots. I chose the Pool Party shade to match the large leaf.
