This post name is not exactly the name of the stamp set. It is however close, and very fitting as this stamp set brings back the “Round” punches that I love. I shared one yesterday as well with the round focal point. You can see that one HERE if you missed it.
You can see that this is a fun fold of sorts. It is a simple one though. And here is the inside view.
A Round of Hellos stamp set
The stamps used on the front are all from the A Round of Hellos set. There are a few sayings and more “round” pieces. I chose this half flower to go along with the leaves. This set also pairs with the 2 3/8″ and 2″ Circle Punches. Both of these are used in the “round” focal area.
Paper
To get the brightness I wanted on a cold and windy day here north of Atlanta, I went with the Brights 6X6 Designer Series Paper from the Annual Catalog. From that I pulled Melon Mambo and Lemon Lime Twist. The base of the card is Melon Mambo. It is a simple cut of 6 1/2 X 5 1/2 and scored on the long side at 2 1/4. The two DSP strips are both the same sheet, I used front and back, and measure 2 1/8 X 5 3/8. The inside one is adhered to the Basic White that is 4 1/8 X 5 3/8.
The circles were punched with the Circle Punches. It was the 2 3/8″ Circle for the Lemon Lime Twist DSP and then 2″ Circle for the stamped flower. The flower is raised using Stampin’ Dimensionals where the DSP is adhered using Multi-purpose Liquid Glue. Remember to only add the glue to the half attaching to the left side!!
Bling
The papers are pretty on their own, but there still must be bling. I went a bit extra today with the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls. These are Strawberry Slush but close enough. There are three sizes of each of the colors and I used all three sizes. You should be able to find 5 of the pearls scattered around.
To finish the card I wanted a touch of texture as well. My go to is a small bow. This is a double bow made using the White Bakers’ Twine from the Essentials Twine pack.
