The Changing Leaves Bundle is my favorite of the current OnLine Exclusives. I have made a previous card using this bundle, but could not resist another one. The muted tones seem to help the leaves stand out very well.
Bundle
To say that these leaves are wonderful is an understatement. The details of the embossed image is so clear and interesting. This Embossing Folder is also a Hybrid. That means it is able to have a Die placed inside and cut out the largest mix of leaves. I did not use that feature, I simply love the embossing.
The Wild Wheat leaves are two Dies in the set also. Plus the sentiment layer with the stitching and rounded ends is great. The sentiment is a simple one that I love and is part of the stamp set. I think the card would bring a smile to anyone.
Papers
The card base is Wild Wheat, as are the extra leaves. I added the layer in Copper Clay and the banner behind the sentiment is too. To keep that simple I took a strip and simply flagged one end. For the main layer and sentiment Basic Beige was my choice. This new addition to our colors is quickly becoming a favorite. It pairs with almost any color.
Finishes
The embossed layer with the added 3D leaves are stand out enough really. But I wanted to give it a little more texture. My bling for this card is the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribbon Adhesive Dots. That is a mouth full for sure! But these embellishments are wonderful and add a little extra with the sparkle strips you can see inside of them.
